bobbyV - USMC stands for United States Marine Corps.  The dates given were when we were on active duty in the Marine Corps.

Your Dad was a twinkle in your Mother's eye during the time of USMC.  It started in 1775 and is still around.

Seems to me that there were others who mentioned the Corps & I was interested in finding another area of commonality.

USMC has been mentioned by some in their posts.  I was wondering how many of us have connections to USMC.  My time was 1953-56.
