Bon Voyage

As long as Clifton isn't the one in the back.   :D

Seattle by four

Everyone is picking the Steelers, that usually isn't a good sign.  (I am even picking them to win, and that usually means that they will lose.)

The Steelers faced much better competitoion this year and really deserve to be the favorite, the crowd at Ford Field is expected to be very Steeler friendly. Seattle has not been near as good away from Qwest Field and their 12th man. Consider the following:

Seattle played only 2 teams on the road this year with a winning record (Jax and Wash) and went 0-2. Pittsburgh faced 4 teams on the road with winning records (SD, Cincy, Indy, Minn) and went 3-1.

Pittsburgh faced 6 playoff teams in the regular season, Seattle 4.

Seattle faced 10 teams that finished with double digit losses, Pittsburgh 8.

Seattle played two wild card teams to get to the Super Bowl, Pittsburgh defeated 3 AFC Division Champs to get here.

Pittsburgh is more battle tested, and the Hawks were only 5-3 away for Qwest including close shaves agains the likes of the 49ers and Titans.

I have to take the Steelers, even though I am from the Northwest.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Oh, and by the way, in the picture above, I'm the beautiful blond in the middle!

:p

Mere Nick

I would regularly be for the Seahawks since it would mean it took the champs to beat my beloved Panthers.

However, being an Appalachian-American, I must support the Steelers.  This appears to be Bettis' last season and I want him to go out with the belts.

I'd tried finding pictures of Seahawk fans, but I couldn't find one without someone holding a Starbucks in their hand. :D
