Last year I was in a fantasy baseball league with some folks.  Some of them post here.  My team stank, but I'm hip to another go.  What about others?

I'm just a dumb girl, but I do love baseball!
I would be into it, but I'm not well versed in fantasy sports.

What about namin' some cool team names?

Like the:

Utah Stormin' Mormons

or the

'Bama Backwoods Baptists

set up the league, Nick, and lets play ball!

I'd rather waste the time watching a real, live, non-fantasy baseball game, personally.

Oh, I agree.  One thing I noticed last year, though, is that I cared about alot more games than usual because of who was on my team.  Having a fantasy ball team doesn't replace the real McCoy, it just makes it even more interesting.  Sorta like finding the stock markets more interesting if you have some dough in it.

I'll probably do it, although I hope to become much busier toward the end of the summer. 

btw, Nick, I'm assuming you would go for a live draft. 

I'm in again. The wife and I have been real busy doing home improvements and I haven't been on here much the last few months, but I was hoping maybe there would be some interest.

I'm real busy with tax season.  Is there anyone who can set it up?  Yahoo worked swell last year, except for all those times folks whupped up on me.  Live drafts are cool.

Maybe I could do it, though.  Who set it up last year?  I forget.  I don't know how hard it is to set up.  Maybe someone could tell how hard it is to set up.

It's pretty easy to set up. In the past I found that the tricky part can be filling a league. If there are a few empty spots and its getting close to draft time you can open up the league to the public to fill it out.
Once the league is up and running the only thing you need to watch for are dead teams (teams that the owners start but then lose interest in). The commish can take those over or look for a replacement owner. It can be fun to set it up if you've never done before.
Nick, as commish you could be sure that there is no DH spot!

Nick, if you decide not to do it I will, but the sooner the better so we can pick a good day for the draft.

I've been thinking about last year.  For a ninth place team, we were really good.

I do recall not being able to figure out how that line-up ended up in ninth place..coaching?  :D

And btw, what's a Wemmick???
