The AL Central, the division that everyone used to make fun of, won the world series last year and is flying again this year.  Your pick for the AL Central Champion?

I picked Detroit.  OTOH, KC is on a tear, having won seven of the last ten...

Even though I picked the Sox to win the AL, I have to pick Minnesota here, mostly because I just realized that I now have five Twins on my fantasy team.

spurly

As go the twins, so goes Marc's fantasy baseball season.

Bon Voyage

I have to pick Detroit, even when they are in the cellar.  If they win the pennant, be prepared, or you may be LEFT BEHIND!

I have to go with Detroit, although it's usually hard for me to go with anything 'michigan'!  They aren't going away.  Also I don't like the Chisox 'cause of beating out my Indians last year.  I noticed they aren't even an option and understandably so.  They are hard to watch.  I am going to see them Saturday night with about 40 from our church down in Cincinnati.  Looking forward to a wonderful summer's evening of fun and fellowship.

Oh, NO, You DID NOT just say that!

Cross-titled

Ha! Ha!  I knew I would eventually draw a response from you!  Go Tigers!

Bon Voyage

Though I am not a Wolverine fan, I will only give them props to those who aren't Big 10 supporters.

Pudge needs a world series ring, so I would not mind seeing Detroit win it all.

I'm going to go with the Tigers, although I think most of us here in the Detroit area are still feeling like we are in some sort of Twilight Zone.

But maybe not. Last summer we (the fans) kept saying that what the team needed was a legitimate pitching ace to get to playing 500 ball. As it turned out, we got two with the addition of Rogers and the rookie Verlander. With Ordonez healthy and Polanco here from the start and the surprising play of Granderson as a replacement for the hustling but always dissapointing Higginson maybe all the pieces are in place. If Dmitri Young can put his personal problems behind him and stay clear of the booze that would be a big help, too, at the DH spot.
