Will the ultimate outcome of this baseball season be the same as 1984?

I certainly hope so.

Nope.  The Texas Rangers will soon end their losing streak and they will win it all!

Nope.  That season, if you remember, was fixed by Big Brother.

Besides, San Diego won't make it past the first round of the playoffs.

The ultimate result I am referring to, is the Tigers winning the World Series.  It matters not, who the opponent is.

I certainly hope so, for I am a Tiger fan, but Detroit has had a hard time with new York and Boston. Both of those teams have a good chance to make it in the playoffs. Whoever doesn't win the east division out of those 2, have a good chance to get the wild card.

I'm sure they would have preferred to have Royce Clayton back, but the Reds already claimed him.  Belliard was the next best thing.
