I haven't disliked any of them, but of course Louisiana's my favorite.  I like pelicans.

When I used to work (woman of leisure that I am now! :D ), I'd exchange the interesting money sometimes when I shut down the cash register.

My father has several pounds of coins from all sorts of countries, from his time in the Navy.  When I was little I thought the one with the naked lady on it was from a country, too.

Bon Voyage

Of course Michigan's is the best and its not even out yet!

I think everyone should collect them. Especially the gold ones. Seeing as how I electroplate them, it will help to keep some of us employed.

I'm collecting those rare ones with the eagle on the back.  Have you seen those? :alien:

What do you think about the state quarters?  Do you collect them?  Ignore them?  Which one is your favorite?  Which is the worst?

I thought about this topic as I was rolling quarters this week.  I have a vending machine business, so I see a lot of quarters.  Hubby sells used money for a living (he's a coin dealer) so . . .

Illinois was the latest, and it was, IMO, not a bad design, but I really wonder how many state outlines we'll end up with.  :uhh:   Do you think the rectangular states like Kansas or the Dakotas will put their outline on?  ;)

Indiana's design with the race car was very good, even though watching a race would fall only slightly above visiting the dentist on my list of enjoyable things to do!  But I think my favorite is still the Charter Oak from Conn.

I liked Delaware's because of the little-known bit of history (Cesar Rodney's ride to vote for the Declaration of Independence while he was ailing with cancer) portrayed on it.

I've heard WV's will have the state seal, but I'm not sure whether that's settled or not.  I'd prefer John Brown, vaving hir rifle in the air, beard pointed toward the heavens, but I'm sure the state won't approve anything negative.

I believe my sweet mother is saving a set of State Quarters for each grandchild.  (Circulated ones, not mint condition.)   Since we've given her six living grandkids so far, that's a lot of money for a lady on a fixed income.  Bless her heart.

I tried to start a collection. Didn't work. I keep needing them for drinks (NOT COKES and not alcohol. Mostly bottled water or welches grape juice--yummy.).
