So far, it looks like a majority here don't think they will make it.  I hope they do, for the sake of baseball.  Ratings and interest are always much higher when they make the playoffs.  Sort of like Notre Dame in College Football.

I think they'll win the division.  More times than not, they've been able to pull it off.  Or perhaps more importantly, more times than not, Boston has faltered.

I vote wild card. With both the Indians and my Tigers falling apart it opens the wild card spot for the Yankees or the Red Sox.

They have passed the Mariners in the wild card race and are creeping up on the Boston Red Sox.  It will definitely be an interesting September.

I didn't always hate the Red Sox, but over the past decade or so, I've adapted.  They're as big of a media darling as the Cubs, the worst excuse for a franchise in professional sports.

btw, I'm not a Cubs fan either, if you couldn't guess.
