Christian Forums

or forum?

i am new here and haven't found one yet so if there is would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction, please.

Welcome to the forum, archaelogist.

There isn't currently a forum dedicated to archaelogy per se.  But, usually, if a topic doesn't specifically fit under one of the other specific forums, then the General Discussion forum is where you can put it.  But, probably the most appropriate place for archaelogy would be the History Forum.  So, if you have a thread you wish to start, then I would put it in one of those two places.

If you wish to discuss Biblical archaelogy, sometimes the Apologetics and Faith forum is a good place to discuss Christian evidences, with regard to history, archaeology, etc.

So, go right ahead.  I suggest you use the History Forum.

I've always had an interested in archaeology.  In fact, there was a time when I was a kid when I said I wanted to be an archaeologist when I grew up.  But, that was probably the influence of the Indiana Jones movies on me at the time.

The Apologetics and Faith forum used to be a  prime location to post scientific and historical evidences related to Christianity and the Bible, but somehow it became fused (confused?) with the theology forum, especially after the advent of the "Ask-a-?" template.

Hopefully someone will do some judicial sorting to reduce the congestion... [hint, hint, wink, wink]
