First of all I'm new her. I'm Eric.

here is where I need your advice.

I just turned 18, and am a freshmen in college. I come home every weekend because I'm having a hard time being away from my friends at home.

but anyways here is my situation. My sister is a freshmen in high school and has had her friend over (15 years old) a few times. Her and me instantly clicked. We then started talking online. Pretty much every night until 2-3am. She comes to my house on the weekend to hang out with my sister but her and me end up hanging out more. Last night my sister had to take of something and it was just me and this girl for 5 hours. We had a movie on but we did nothing but talk the whole time.

now before you think something. I'm NOT in this to "get some." I am not that kind of guy and I just want to hang out with her. I truly like this girl and we are on the same maturity level. I have never really got along with people my grade because I'm always the youngest and (admittedly) not as mature as people in my grade.

I was just hoping to get some advice from ya'll

thanks for listening  ::smile::

Personally, I see nothing magical about the number eighteen.  Just be careful.  If yous end up parting on bad terms for whatever reason, remember how far accusations can go these days... nobody is presumed innocent until proven guilty anymore (just look at Barry Bonds).

Eric...Familiar story to me...The age difference is not bad..except 15 and 18 is not a good time to get serious..Just a good time to be friends for a while...Congratulations on your attitude about respecting her innocence....

You may have met your soulmate but give it plenty of time...a few years..Dating is fun and will give you both time to mature...It's good to know you are the kind of boy that knows how to treat the opposite sex...with proper respect but 15 is much to young to get serious...cool it...this could be your soulmate...If you are her's...time will bring even more deeper love...Be patient..Just let love happen ...Hoping you both are christians...We've been married 52 years..but times are so much different now..

God bless,Peck

Get me if I have misunderstood something but you said that your sister had to take of something..... you cannot do anything with your sister as that be illegal. Or it is in UK so am guessing it is in USA. Though could be wrong.
If you did actually mean her friend.  Just play it cool and go very very slowly.  Such a bore I know but probably the best way.  She obviously felt comfortable with you to take off that something.  Keep the trust there by not jumping in. If nothing happens even in months then fine.  You have done nothing wrong in not taking a lead.  Keep her trust and don't rush in.  Get to know her as your sisters' friend and as I say length of time - if you both do love one another deeply you will find yourselves in the appropriate way for you two.  But please don't rush the friendship. Take each moment as it happens and don't push for more.  She is comfortable towards you and enjoy that.  Enjoy what you have rather than push for what you haven't got.  Hope this helps.

yes, sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant her friend.

The way I see it is that young people tend to change as they get older.  We can all of us change over time, but young people must expect to change - sometimes drastically, and often over a fairly short space of time.

This girl may be your soul mate now, but do not be surprised if she is no longer your soul mate in a year or two from now.

In short, play it cool.
