Bon Voyage

Not to mention that Bo Pelini is a candidate for Nebraska.

Weeble

Our Offensive Coordinator, Gary Crowton,  is also being looked at by several schools.

When you win people want to hire you. And I have no problem if any of them leave, just as long as they are not jerks about it and blame the players when they loose their last game and then try to take the next coaches glory for winning with their players.

Cross-titled

I heard yesterday on Herbstreit's local radio show that he has heard that Bo Pelini is the next Nebraska coach.

Weeble

Pelini would be a great hire for Nebraska, but I don't believe that he will be very successful there. Nebraska is a lame duck in the water right now.

Do they want to be West Coast or do they want to go back to the option grind the ball style where they found their success?   Whoever they get to be their coach will have to spend his first three years just trying to point the ship in a direction. I don't know if the school will wait that long.

Miles is staying

We are off to face Ohio State in the National Championship Game.

It's a great time to be a Tiger!

::amen!::

Go Tigers!!!

Dennis

The most hilarious thing to me was Miles' supposed outrage that the press wouldn't take his word for the fact he was staying. Can you say "track record?"

Who's track record?????

Miles has pretty much done everything he said he was going to do. He has coached at  Michigan, Oklahoma State, Dallas Cowboys, Oklahoma State, and finally LSU, but I don't remember him lying at those schools.

Or are you talking about Jimmy Sexton's clients?  Saban, Tubberville, Nutt?

Didn't Miles sign a contract extension at OSU shortly before bolting for LSU?  Maybe that was another guy, but I have several OSU friends who place Miles' credibility about on par with Bill Clinton.

Weeble

He might have signed an extension, but he never claimed his undying loyalty to OSU and then bolt for LSU.

He was a good coach at OSU and Skip asked for and was granted permition to talk with Him. Miles informed their AD and President that he wanted to be at a school that was not the little sister of a bigger instate school.  He paid out of his contract and still has a great reputation with OSU.

I don't know how that makes you as credible as slick Willy, but your friends can think what they want.
