Hi!  Have a manna for asking a good question.  ::smile::

"Manna" has first level roots in, to be honest, video games.  In various games it might describe units of power or how strong the game character's experience or life force is.

But, of course, we all know where the creators of those games got the word in the first place!

The English word "manna", we can trace it back like this:

Modern English --> Middle English --> Old English --> Late Latin --> Greek --> Aramaic --> Hebrew

The word seems to come from old Hebrew that has to do with something found, a gift -- which the famous manna was, when God fed the traveling Israelites with it.  It also sounds like an expression from that time -- when you found something surprising you might ask, "What IS it?" -- and that's an expression that sounds like "_man_", they say.

Anyway, all those many words come down to this:

If you want to reward somebody for saying something really well; or, if you want to encourage somebody who appears to be feeling down, you might give them a manna point.

After 20 posts, I believe, is when you can post links.  We try to stick to this, even for neutral links, even for beneficial links, because it helps us avoid negative links dropped here by someone who never intended to stay and chat and become part of things here.

As for the wallpapers -- How are people able to see them now, in general?  Are they available online somewhere?  When you're able to post links, you could link to wherever they can be seen.  If you do them as a money-making venture, run it by Lee Wilson the Admin, first, to see if it will be OK and how you need to do it.

If you don't have them on display anywhere online, what would you need to do to display them?
