I don't know whether I quite qualifyy as a "Christian single", since I'm actually a widower.  I lost my wife in November, 2006, and have lived alone since then.  I have been literally carried on a "satin cushion" by my church ever since, and in many other ways the Lord has been good to me, providing much watchcare.  My wife's family still retain me as a relative, and I occasionally visit some of them in West Virginia.  I'm learning to be content in my lone state, and am not beating the bushes in search of a new companion, although my sister-in-law in WV says she's sure I will remarry.  Well, I guess I would if a Christian nurse came along and proved compatible with me...but I'm not holding my breath.

Yes, you are a Christian single.  I am really excited to hear that your church has come alongside you in your loss and in your transition to life without your wife.  May God continue to bless you.

I feel as you do, I have been widowed for almost a year, lost my husband of 43yrs last June, I feel lost and don't know where I fit in.

Fortunately the Lord has provided rich blessings to me.  Ever since my wife's passing my church has carried me "on a satin cushion".  Also I have found great joy in volunteering at Masonic Pathways in Alma, Michigan among older people, many of whom are very lonely.
