I was looking forward to Ender's Game, but the plug has been pulled.  Some authors get too possessive of their work.

The kids loved Transformers, and I liked it, too.  But seriously, who would name thier child "cow pie" (Shia La Beouf)? ::crackup::

Ok forgot Transformers 2, and The new Terminator, and the new Fast and Furious, Even Escape to Witch Mountain remake, and 2012,  no on the star trek, and are they making a G.I. Joe movie?   Will they have the "And knowing is half the battle." at the end?

Mere Nick

"STIFFED!!!  The Life and Times of HRoberson"

I saw a preview for Escape to Witch Mountain...my excitement is tempered by wariness...most of the remakes that have been coming out, Flubber, That Darned Cat...have been rather lackluster...hopefully this one will be different.  I will see it if I can, though, so add it to my list ::smile::

Bon Voyage

No on the Star Trek?  I can't believe any sane person would not want to watch the Star Trek movie.

I'll see it. I watch anything horror or scifi. Good, bad and everything in between.  ::eatingpopcorn:

When  were they making enders game into a movie? holy crap I loved that book! One of my all time favorites. Aw, Orson Scott Card, let them make my movie dangit. He lives in my town, if I ever run into him I'll make sure to bother him until he changes his mind.

it was in play until mid January.  No word on what exactly happened, but the plug-pulling was announced and the imdb page came down.  Before, the big glitch is that studios wanted to portray Ender as being older, and Card would have nothing of it, but supposedly all that had been overcome, and Card had worked on a script that combined Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow to tell the story from both Ender's and Bean's POV.  It looked promising....

but the end came suddenly.

Where The Wild Things Are............YES!  That and Star Trek.
