Hello;
I am new to the board. I am a wife to my husband Brandon since  fall of 1999, mother of 4 blessed children. 1 daughter age 9 1/2, & 3 sons ages 8, 4 1/2 & almost 8months old.
Farmost I am a daughter of God & so humbled he chose me as one of his children in his kingdom. I am also a wedding minister. Right now we home church until my husband & I find a bible based church we both agree on biblically. I am more old fashioned, conserviative, hymnal based,  he's more outgoing, luthern,libral (he said I could be the spiritual leader for our children, which is fine me teaching them,but he needs to be the head of the home.) I stcik to the KJV though I do have an RSV bible as well, so I donot think the KJV is the "only" true bible, but I keep going back to it.
We live in Texas.
I got baptised Sept of 2007, but originally through a baptist church with my husband Oct 2002, but the reason I got re-baptized is because the first one was in my mind to do with membership before I truly came to Jesus,so in Sept 2007 I did it for the true reason,not membership.
What I hope to get from this board besides meeting online friends,is to grow more with the bible & to  fellowship with true christian people,  though no one is perfect.

Welcome to the GCC forums. I'm in several Christian forums--including one Baptist one, which is one of my favorites. Being retired and broke, I have nothing else I can afford to do.

Hi,
I did a survey once and I was quite surprised how many people like the Revised Standard  V. Bible ---it just so happened it was my first one in 2006 - and it seems to be my favorite. I have them all though and love them, of course.
