Proverbs 30:18-19 (ESV)

Three things are too wonderful for me;
four I do not understand:
the way of an eagle in the sky,
the way of a serpent on a rock,
the way of a ship on the high seas,
and the way of a man with a virgin.

This is one of the most insightful passages to me to the healthy attraction between a man and the love of his youth.  Agur says it all in the last line.  He also says in verse 6

Do not add to his words,
lest he rebuke you and you  be found a liar.

Unfortunately I am not a virgin anymore.  I have been active as a non-Christian and even as a Christian.  But I repented of that and look eagerly for the return of our Savior.  If God would bless me with a girl who he has planned for me from the beginning, I'll be forever grateful.  But it doesn't have to happen.

Praise to God for his love for his people.
