Mr. J

It needs to be noted that the premise of the political message is that any type of meat eating is cruel and unusual treatment of animals.

The Bible says vegetarianism is a sign of the last days.

Mr. J

1 Timothy 4

1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

4For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Do you think this "latter days" is talking about the end of the world?  Have any of the other things he's mentioned happened quite a while ago, perhaps?

Why do I keep buying cheap pickle loaf instead of the good deli stuff?

Mr. J

Do I think the "latter days" are the end of the world?

NO.

The end of the world is an event.

The latter days happen before that event.

I don't know why you buy cheap pickle loaf.  I don't buy any bread, I make all mine fresh.

Bon Voyage

I had polar bear for dinner tonight.  Better for the polar bear to be on my plate than die a sad death due to the polar ice caps melting.

Mr. J

Polar bear is traditionally eaten raw...  at least the first few meals... nothing to burn out on the ice pack.

What about my second question?

Mr. J

It is not something I've spent a lot of time looking at.  Perhaps you could fill us in?

janine

You need to graduate to pickle and pimento loaf.
