After reading even in a locked thread about various sexual activities, it seems to me that anything goes providing that:

1.  It is only between a man and his wife.
2.  Both consent, letting each other have their jollies.
3.  No one is physically injured.

Let us consider the teachings delivered to us from the noted theologian Ray Stevens in his song "It's Me Again, Margaret".

Towards the end of the song a man mentions coming over to Margaret's house with a weed eater, a live chicken and some peach preserves.  Well, it seems the chicken should be out and care should be taken that the weed eater won't cause bleeding.  He and Margaret should first get married and just take the weedeater and preserves with them on their honeymoon.

To end it seriously, though, what ever married couples want to do, it is their private property.  On one hand I don't really want to be asked to consider another couple doing stuff, especially if I know them, but on the other hand I guess we are always open to suggestions, especially from complete strangers.

lightshineon

These locked threads put dirty images in my mind, I am human so sue me.

JohnDB

There are ways to discuss things about sexuality that are neither graphic or so explicit in detail.

And that sort of behavior I would expect you to encourage in the utmost fashion. Being able to speak to our current generation doesn't mean that we have to resort to vulgar speech all of the time or humanity's most base elements of society.

I, like LSO, am glad that the threads were locked.

I can understand where some people would have an honest question every once in a while...and those do happen from time to time...but when a poster makes it a regular topic and wants everyone to be discussing just that one subject and monopolizes all of the air in the room....I think that the action taken was appropriate.

lightshineon

Thank You John, I mean how many ways, can one subject be talked to death? It is what it is, what more is there? I do not care if Mr. A and Mrs.A want to have kinky sex swinging from a chandelier, and have two cans of whip cream. TMI, TMI. The first thread, I believe was a legitimate question, but, we have some of our  more weirdo posters, taking it all to a new level. In these forums. an analogy could be made about, how a lady of the night never knows who, or what she will have sex with. On these forums, you never know who, or what may answear your question. Some serial killer with a playboy, being lewd or a sincere Christian.

If folks'd keep their threads locked there'd be no sexyall activtee

The mods are real keen on locking threads around here, so why not this one, too....

Is there?  Like lightshineon said, it usually gets to be TMI real quick.  All I would tell folks are those three items I mentioned and hope I don't ever hear about what ever it is a particular married couple takes a notion to do, especially if I know them at all, even if it is just a picture.

Let me boil it down:  What a couple wants to do is what they ought to be doing.  Let your freak flag fly, but in your bedroom.  I just don't want to ever be given any information or asked any questions that would ever cause me to mull over what it looks like, say, for women in our congregation to be having sex.

OK...now yawl just created one...

And it wasn't pretty either.

Please..if you love me at all STOP.

We have some congregants that where they are rather pleasant people...their physical appearance isn't near as pleasing as their personalities. (including our pastor's wife..she is so nice and kind...but I also know their son. And I have said way too much already.

NOT a picture of folks I know.  I take it that lightshineon's picture is in her avatar.  That mean's there's not enough anonymity for the two of us to ever talk about this kind of stuff.

See?  Now just how happy would I be if my wife had her picture on here and was talking to other men about sex?  If it were two completely masked people asking more generic questions or talking to maybe a licensed therapist, that might be different.

That's the whole gist of the op.  If I have a question about what's cool and uncool, I'll ask my wife.  Her opinion counts and no one elses does.

I just read a timely article on the huge surge in throat cancer.  Imagine, and the number of smokers has decreased.   ::shrug::

Throat cancer also is on the rise from "acid reflux".My uncle died from esophegial cancer. He was a "boat captain" and had 20 or 30 years of 'acid reflux".Ya know when your stomach up chucks a lttle bit and burns your throat and then it goes back down? Thats what killed him.

Well, there ain't a whole lot to say.  If you and your spouse take a notion to do something then go have at it as long as:

1.  It is only between a man and his wife.
2.  Both consent, letting each other have their jollies.
3.  No one is physically injured.

There's no reason to ask folks here if something is ok.  It's always TMI as lightshineon said earlier.  Ask the only one with an opinion that matters, your spouse.  You know, zoo, your picture isn't up and for some reason it still doesn't seem like there's enough anonymity.  Maybe it's because we've spoken before here, or something.

I'm guessing you were pointing that out to me that even with a lack of pictures, just know a message board name is enough to make lots of folks hinky.
