This is a very interesting series on the schism.  Now, it's not really "about" the schism so much as it is about a lot of misunderstandings about the schism in regards to "Latin" vs "Greek" Christians.  It also traces a lot of the historical contexts that wound up making what today we call, "Rome" and how that effected the doctrines that Roman Catholics have built on and why they vary so much from the theology of the "Eastern" Christians.

If you like Christian history, history of doctrine and or especially suffer from Romaphobia, this is interesting stuff!

I'd be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on this.  Fr. Romanides' work on which this youtube video is based is also free and online.  Just googler.

Rats, Ryan!  I must not have a good enough internet service as the videos keep "buffering" every two seconds and make them unwatchable.  Do you know of another way to see them?  I will try to go to YouTube direct.  Sometimes that works better for some reason.

Hm, yeah.  If that happened to me, I'd just go to straight to the source (pun! get it?  cause we're catholic?  ohhhh ok.  nvm.   ::lookaround::)

Yeah, youtube.

The other thing you can do is just hit play and then pause it.  You'll see that the video continues to load by looking at the little red bar.  Once that red bar is 100% then you can hit play and it'll play without having to buffer.  Seems like your buffering faster than it can load.
