You know right from wrong...

you wouldn't ask if you were 100% positive of how you felt about him and what life with him was going to be like.

So...in your heart you already know how this is going to work out in the end...and how much your heart will be broken no matter what you decide.

The choice now is about damage control...smaller damage now or bigger damage later.

You know that he will not change, what you see is what you will have to deal with through the years of your maririage. If he drags you down emotionally most of the time, that is what he will do throughout the years of your marriage. There is a strong chance he will drag you down, smother you with his negative outlook. Like it was said, you know what will happen, so if you want that long dark relationship as you get older, go for it. Otherwise, I would just be nice and keep looking. I think you know you need a potential mate who will strengthen the positive in you and build you up. Please, see him for what he is...and what he definitely is not.

I feel for you in your struggle of uncertainty and getting along in years.. You are free to marry whom you wish in the Lord..  But in accordence with your current relationship,,,,,

Do you love Jesus more then him? John 14:21 Has the Lord completed you in your heart? Are you secure and understand who you are in Christ being grafted into God's family, becoming His child?
The scripture says in Matthew 6:33.. But seek first His Kindom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added.. "the desires of your heart"
Right now, do your desires line of with God's desires? Do you know what your Heavenly Father desires for you, do you spend enough time with Him to find out? You are His daughter, reconciled to Him through His Son, Jesus.

Psalm 37:7  Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.   Do you really trust Him with your future? The husband of His choosing? Do you love the Lord with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength?? Honest answer? Then...

Do you trust in the Lord enough to wait for Him for the right husband?  Do you want the Lord to walk you down the isle or do you want yourself too?? Do you really desire to be led by the Lord and walk in  trust with Him? His He the one your are giving your hand to first and foremost?

Just some thoughts about who is leading you in this relationship..     I know it is difficult.. I have yet to be married also and am getting along in years.. But I choose to trust the Lord, by waiting patiently for Him.  Remember, your Heavenly Father loves you and desires what is best for you, so give your heart to Him so He can lead you.. remember.. your being completed is not in a man, but in the Lord and your identity is not by the standards of this world, but by your relationship with Jesus being reconciled into one of God's children.  Yes, you can have it all when you are allowing the Lord to lead you..  Read Luke chapter 14:25-35, then read Luke 14:16-24.  Go to http://www.ajesuschurch.org/teachings/teaching/?id=770&c=41   watch or listen to part 19, becoming a disciple... You will need your bible!!!

In your "help" blog, you say you look young for your age so you can get guys. If that's what decides if a guy is attracted to you, I'd say there's something the guy does not know about how to love.

The bait you use can be what chooses the fish you catch.

There are a lot of men who are suckers for just what someone looks like, tone of voice, and if a woman seems like she is going to give them what they want.

If you want a trout, "rather let it be the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)

First is to be pleasing to our Father, by being in His love's "incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit"; and if you seek first to be pleasing to Him (instead of first trying to get pleased by a guy), this can make you able to connect with the others who are submissive to God in His love's "gentle and quiet spirit". And by being obedient to God, this will make you able to connect with whoever God has for you to marry, if He wants this; so you don't need to pull teeth to get a guy to do what you want; someone who wants to obey God will be glad to obey Him by marrying you, if this is God's will.

Jesus wants us to be willing and glad and pleased to do what He wants; so I understand I must not push or pressure anyone to do what I'd like; because if God is not having them cheerful and willing to do something for me, then I need to honor this choice by God, and see what He does have really Christian people desire to share with me. So, I offer myself to ladies I appreciate, and pay attention to how they respond ::smile:: The Holy Spirit can have them connect, if He pleases.

You don't need to charm or beg, either ::smile:: if you are being obedient; just see how God blesses you to go in His peace: "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15) God will do the satisfying, in His peace ::smile:: so you have better than you could want from each other.

"I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem,
By the gazelles or by the does of the field,
Do not stir up nor awaken love
Until it pleases." (Song of Solomon 3:5)
