Ryan2010

I haven't been active on the boards in some time.  While I do find conversation about Christian topics profitable I find that the majority of the time we are merely debating.  One of the reasons I had difficulty with my protestant experiences (not always but for the most part) was that I couldn't distinguish between what I was calling "church" and the "marketplace of ideas".

So I have decided to withdraw from many topics and conversations with certain chatters only because they only seem to devolve into temper tantrums or getting "hurt" over the conversation.  Other times people just get puffed up (myself is included here of course).

I was only a catechumen when I first participated on this board but two weeks ago, my family (wife and kids!) were baptized/chrismated into the Orthodox Church.  By the Bishop even!

So just wanted to say howdy and update anyone that might have asked, "what ever happened to that dood that wrote those long rambling posts?"

Glory to Jesus Christ
