Im in a history forum (not this one), and as you can imagine it has often times heated debates on religion. I keep fighting for God's side, but again as you can imagine its not easy against so many athiest/others who wont accept something based from the bible. So would anyone like to join me on the site? =D
It would be helpful ^.^ but remember that these are college professors and the like on there. And if not to help, its always fun to talk about history =3
Also remember they are trying to calm the religious arguments, so read the rules and follow them to keep the Mods from closing a thread.
and dont focus completely on it, focus on providing  good discussion on the non-religion threads also o-o
Im told I cant post a link unless that site also links back here, so any other ways I can lead you there?
oh and I wont be disclosing which member I am ;-;

Snargles

You can't post a link but you could tell us the name of the site or tell us what to look for if we googled it.

I looked it over, and what I saw was, honestly, a couple of windbags repeating what they've heard with very little knowledge or thought. The thread that I read, btw, was the one where Jesus was cited as being one of the most overrated figures in history because his teaching led (purposefully, the idiot argues) to torture and war.

I'm not sure it's worth diving in. No use arguing with closed minds. Besides, personally, I couldn't be civil.

Patriarca

you realize alot of those "windbags" are my friends who have helped me through dificult times, right? And the fact that they feel that why is exactly why we should help them

marc

If you took offense at what I said, then you can see why I shouldn't post on that forum. I'm old, grouch, and I have learned not to hold my tongue as much as I once did.
