Sometimes you are emotionally attached to your watch especially if it was gifted to you by someone special. But due to regular use the watch looks untidy. The solution in this case is to Link deleted per rules 3.1 and 3.3  give it a new look altogether. A crisp, clear, scratch-free crystal can improve the looks of an old watch dramatically; surprisingly even. Crystals are very easy to replace and your local watch-repair shop will usually charge very less for it. In general, people who own watches will wear them almost every day, and the faces on these watches can show the neglect. Watch faces can scratch easily and will certainly collect dirt, dust, oil and other debris through general wear and tear. While you can always go out and get a new watch, it may be worth it to simply give a good clean and shine to your watch face, restoring it to its original beauty and extending the life of the watch for a long time to come.

This can be done by an expert for expensive watches and for regular watches you can try a hand yourself. Apply a small amount of toothpaste on a soft cloth and rub it over the scratch. Dampen a soft cloth in plain warm water and rinse well. While the look of leather watch straps can also be restored, keep in mind that the damage caused by years of wear may compromise the band's strength. So you might want to replace the band depending on its durability.
