 According to Beck Luther was  Anti-Semetic ..

Because he Got angry at the disblieving Jews  over   Jewish teaching which would not only include usury but also would  include  the rape of little children  ..  

odd how  some  people just hear one side and run with it...

ME iam not afraid to be labeled anti- semetic ..

because iam also against usury and the rape of little children..

and could see my self getting angry over such teachings  and saying what Luther said ..

I am sorry, this post is just a mess.

First off, the common definition of an anti-semite is discrimination against or prejudice or hostility toward Jews.  Keeping the actual definition in mind, Luther is anti-semitic.  Another definition is hostility toward or discrimination against Jews as a religious, ethnic, or racial group.  Luther would also fit this description. 

If you could see yourself getting as mad as Luther against the Jewish people, you probably are just as mad as Luther.  You simply used the Luther to absolve yourself from a lot of feeling that you admit to sharing.  In fact, your own anti-semitic statements really lend credence to why you cannot see Luther as being this himself.  The idea that you could take a club to a person in response to a belief they have speaks volumes about yourself.  I am trying not to use ad-hominem attacks but the circumstances you have created make this nearly impossible. 

Making up a definition that does not exist is not a sound way to express your thoughts. 

Luther's feelings against the Jewish people changed dramatically during his lifetime.  The change was actually eerily similar to the one the prophet Muhammad had.

Luther condemned and verbally, spiritually, and mentally attacked the Jewish people.  Beck is simply trying to show support to Israel and the Jewish people. 

Luther's attacks on the Jewish people show that he did might not have known the real Yeshua.  I do not know his heart, but his actions imply that this is the case. 

Beck is simply showing support for Israel.  Like you said, he is not trying to convert them.  Luther was completely oblivious to all of the history, opression, and forced conversion that the Jewish people were under for years.  Let me restate, he was either oblivious or unsympathetic.  Regardless, he was using a technique and approach that could only offend and alienate the Jews from himself.  He only furthered the huge divide that existed and still exists between Jews and Gentiles. 

Beck gets attacked more than anybody other telivision personality.  He says whatever he believes and that is sometimes to his own detriment, but at least he is honest. 

Saving up food is the most logical and common sense thing a person could possibly do.  If food prices are going to rise, does it not make more sense to get the food now when it is cheaper?  Food prices are rising and are going to continue to do this.  This is a fact and is not up for speculation.  Saving food is cost-effective and can help you endure a variety of negative scenarios that a person and/or family could endure.  Why do you believe the local government will come and take the food away?  That is just mindless, subjective banter the has no fundamental backing.

Yeshua teaches about knowledge and wisdom.  Knowing the food prices will rise and a possible shortage could ensue, it would be foolish to not prepare.  Again, it is not like this is some costly, risky idea that can put a person in the hole economically.  Even if there was no food shortage, we know that food prices are going to rise.  If you were going to buy some milk and you had a 10% off coupon in your hand, would you or would you not use the coupon?  This is common sense and logic at the most basic level.  Trusting in Yeshua is necessary and essential, but you are not required to be ignorant while doing this.

I am trying to decipher this grammatical nightmare.  I think I get the crux of your point and I do not disagree with it.  That being said, Yeshua will let someone know of his intentions.  We should not forsake basic logic in an effort to preordain what we believe Yeshua might tell us.   

I would imagine that a believer that stocks up food, would do so for the purpose of preserving himself as well as others.  If someone is doing it for the purpose of eating like a king while everyone else starves, he is defintely in the wrong.  I will say, it is easier to preach about Yeshua when a person is alive.

Now I digress, was Luther anti-semitic?  According to his works and the definition of the word(s), the only answer is yes.  This can be proven by taking a look at just one of his citations.  If need be, I have numerous other literature, statements, and face-to-face interactions with Jews that would paint the same picture.  For sake of time, I cited

This will bring home to them that they are not masters in our country, as they boast, but that they are living in exile and in captivity, as they incessantly wail and lament about us before God.


Third, I advise that all their prayer books and Talmudic writings, in which such idolatry, lies, cursing and blasphemy are taught, be taken from them. (remainder omitted)


Fourth, I advise that their rabbis be forbidden to teach henceforth on pain of loss of life and limb. For they have justly forfeited the right to such an office by holding the poor Jews captive with the saying of Moses (Deuteronomy 17 [:10 ff.]) in which he commands them to obey their teachers on penalty of death, although Moses clearly adds: "what they teach you in accord with the law of the Lord." Those villains ignore that. They wantonly employ the poor people's obedience contrary to the law of the Lord and infuse them with this poison, cursing, and blasphemy. In the same way the pope also held us captive with the declaration in Matthew 16 {:18], "You are Peter," etc, inducing us to believe all the lies and deceptions that issued from his devilish mind. He did not teach in accord with the word of God, and therefore he forfeited the right to teach.


Fifth, I advise that safe­conduct on the highways be abolished completely for the Jews. For they have no business in the countryside, since they are not lords, officials, tradesmen, or the like. Let they stay at home. (...remainder omitted).


Sixth, I advise that usury be prohibited to them, and that all cash and treasure of silver and gold be taken from them and put aside for safekeeping. The reason for such a measure is that, as said above, they have no other means of earning a livelihood than usury, and by it they have stolen and robbed from us all they possess. Such money should now be used in no other way than the following: Whenever a Jew is sincerely converted, he should be handed one hundred, two hundred, or three hundred florins, as personal circumstances may suggest. With this he could set himself up in some occupation for the support of his poor wife and children, and the maintenance of the old or feeble. For such evil gains are cursed if they are not put to use with God's blessing in a good and worthy cause.


Seventh, I commend putting a flail, an ax, a hoe, a spade, a distaff, or a spindle into the hands of young, strong Jews and Jewesses and letting them earn their bread in the sweat of their brow, as was imposed on the children of Adam (Gen 3[:19]}. For it is not fitting that they should let us accursed Goyim toil in the sweat of our faces while they, the holy people, idle away their time behind the stove, feasting and farting, and on top of all, boasting blasphemously of their lordship over the Christians by means of our sweat. Judging by your posts, you seem to hate us a great deal more than we hate you. I've never seen a single Roman Catholic poster here attack Lutheranism---though I have seen you attack us.

    It is crucial for everyone,in particular Christians to come to terms with some facts. Christianity is under assault,American culture,our moral standards are being attacked on a daily basis. Sexual depravity, children being instructed about homosexuality, the glorification of anti family,abortion promotion...there is a reason for this. What I am stating has nothing to do with hate. In post-war Poland that nation was completely dominated by Jewish communists: the torturer Jacek Rozanski, head of the Secret Police; the Politboro commander Jacob Berman (pictured at right) and commissars Minc, Specht (Olszewski) and Spychalski. Sack does a good job of proving Goldhagen wrong about Poland).

In Poland, "...a disproportionate number of Communists were Jews. In 1930, at its peak, 35% of the members of the party were Jewish. In Communist youth organizations, Jewish membership was even higher, while Communists of Jewish origin occupied most of the seats on the central committee. Communism appealed to some Jews because it opposed anti-Semitism more vigorously than any other Polish party...Jewish Communists reached their apogee in the years immediately after World War Two, when the party leadership was totally in the hands of the prewar Communist leadership that abhorred anti-Semitism." Of course when one encounters the issue of Jews, Communists and Catholics in Poland in the Establishment media or universities today, the mass murder of the Polish Catholics at the hands of the Jewish Communists, is never raised. Instead, a minor attack on Jews by Polish peasants enraged at the role of Jews in Communist terror, which occurred in July, 1946 at Kielce and which has come to be called the "Kielce pogrom" will be the centerpiece of the "discussion. " The motivation for the attack is not usually mentioned. Rather, the Catholic peasantry are painted in terms of "fiendish bigots" whose "blind, irrational hate" for the "poor, persecuted Jews" resulted in "yet another martyrdom of God's Chosen."

But the Catholic Primate of Poland at the time, Cardinal Hlond, a brave prelate in a stalwart tradition of Christian resistance to Jewish tyranny in Poland, so different from the traitorous philo-Judaism of the current Pontiff, stated that the attack in Kielce occurred because of resentment 'due to the Jews who today occupy leading positions in Poland's (Communist) government and endeavor to introduce a governmental structure that the majority of Poles do not wish to have." As Piotr S. Wandycz of Yale University observes, "The average Pole could not but notice in the Stalinist era that the two most powerful men in the country-Berman and Minc-were both Jewish as was the dreaded security official Rozanski." (N.Y. Review of Books, Aug. 18, 1983, p. 51).

With this record it is interesting to note that the Polish occupant of the papacy, John Paul II, consistently lent his prestige and his presence to canonizations and commemorations of politically correct victims of the Nazis. Nowhere did this Pope breath a word about the openly Jewish, Communist massacres of Polish Catholics, Spanish Catholics, Croatian Catholics, Lithuanian Catholics-he was too busy, intoning the Shoah, referring to the heirs of the Pharisees as "our Elder Brothers in the Faith" giving official recognition to an Israeli state which even many orthodox, Haredi rabbis regard as a blasphemous and abominable entity, and attacking the German people as "the image of the beast."

Solomon Morel (pictured at left): commandant of a post-war Communist concentration camp for Germans in Poland. Stalin deliberately put Jews in charge of such camps.
