The Song of Psalms 9 - a perfect fit for this day after the 2024 election

This Psalms 9 chapter came often to my mind especially this past year as we all saw the ramped-up levels of harassment and increasingly wicked plans to shut down Donald Trump and anyone who might support him.  I would encourage everyone to read Psalm 9 in its entirety today. 

As our local talk radio host is emphasizing this morning, DJT's standing among the public only kept improving with each new revelation of what lengths the deep state would go to eliminate him - politically and physically.

Truly, in the net which they spread to trap him was their own foot taken, just as the Psalmist wrote long ago.   Americans generally despise a bully, and tend to react accordingly.  We can actually credit DJT's over-the-top oppressors for instigating this response by the public across the board, as was just reflected in this year's vote in support of him.   

"The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made; In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.  The Lord is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.  Selah."

Please continue to pray for God's protection of this man, his family, and the team he has started gathering around him to help implement the rescue of this nation's perilous condition. 

"Let your mercy be upon us, O Lord, according as we hope in you." (Ps. 33:22)
