Bon Voyage

spurly, board games are my favorite also. I love scrabble and monopoly, but the kids have lost interest in them a lot, although we still play once in a great while. My son, that is in the army, was my board gamer in our home until he moved out last year. We were always challenging one another as he is really bright and VERY competitive. Words have always been a strong point with me, so I did challenge him.

So now I do word games online and crossword puzzles out of the newspaper, though they are usually too difficult for me.

Let the games begin...

Not into computer games.  That may be because I'm not very good at them, though :).

If I didn't know you were from OK before you said you liked to play pitch, I would have known from that post.  I don't know many people who are not from OK that even know what Pitch is.

Nevertheless

I like to play at Playsite.com.  Tangleword (like Boggle) is my favorite, but I also play Scrabble and Hearts.

Hubby and I play cards a lot, but we modify rules to make it more interesting for two players.   :)

i have recently found the various free IQ tests found online to be rather fun...

I like to play Snood offline, and card games like spades and hearts online.  Play mancala, battleship, and other games with my children on occasion.

I was just wondering what games any of you like to play on the computer, online or off. I like wordwhomp and tumblebees on the pogo site (online) and javanoid and collapse on freearcade (offline).

Tell me some more games that are interesting also, as I haven't explored too much.

I'm not a computer game type of person.  I prefer board games and card games with real people sitting around a table.  That is much more fun.

Oh, and I also love card games as we always had cards in the house because my dad was a dealer in a casino for years. My favorite game of cards is 3up 3down. Very addictive and all my kids love it.

You like to play?

spurly

Yep, pitch was a game that I grew up playing with my family who is from Tulsa.  I haven't played it in a year or two, though.  The last time I played was at the senior citizens center in Inola, OK.

I play Collapse, Tetris, work jigsaw puzzles. . .

dgdodd

I usually play Canasta, Literatti (Scrabble on Yahoo games), Euchre and crossword puzzles; although, I would much rather play   with someone face to face.  The crosswords are great because they will give you clues (letters or complete words) as you want them.  Because of this, no puzzle is left unfininshed.
