My wife has been very interested in her case since her disappearance.  She has been watching the news as often as possible to get any updates.  

I hope the truth comes to light soon though.  Very tragic.  Very disturbing.

Never, I'm only vaguely familiar with the story myself, and that only because my husband is such a news junkie and has the tv on news stuff so much.

They sure are making a big deal about Scott Peterson going to Mexico on business and selling his wife's car.   :p  I wonder if they will ever find the body?

I know at this point it is all conjecture, but do you think her husband had anything to do with Lacy's disappearance?  At this point I don't know.  I guess we will find out eventually.

The email requests I get for prayer & to watch out for this or that lost one are usually hoaxes, or something that started out true but is now 5 years over with...

Laci's situation, on the other hand, is all the more scary because it is true and appears to be straightforward foul play.

Unless she suddenly decided she didn't want to be with the scummy adulterer when the child was born...

The idea of a healthy almost-term lady being snatched for the infant is what first came to mind for me...

Somehow I have a lot of trouble trusting that hubby had nothing to do with it, since he was obviously self-centered enough to be having an affair when his very beautiful wife was in her 8th month like that...

If he has bad enough judgement to engage in behavior like that, then how do we know he has good enough judgement to select a partner for his adultery who is stable?  In other words, I wonder if the girlfriend didn't plot up something?

Other than the link that Barb directed me to, I have only heard about her on the news once.  

A few days ago I heard on the radio that a clerk in Washington state said she had seen her in Dec.  Said the lady was there with a man and told the clerk to call the police when she left because she was being kidnapped.  Clerk says she forgot.  :doh:   Sounds crazy to me.  Does this clerk have so many women telling her they're being kidnapped that it just slips her mind?  I think she's making it up.
