Nashville Star

Anyone hear a fan of Nashville Star? My parents really got into it for a while and I have some friends who really liked it. I've watched it a few times.

To me it seems like they're trying to immulate American Idol when they don't need to. The earlier seasons of Nashville Star were unique and fun but now it seems like something is missing.

Anyway, so are there any fans of the show here?

I've watched every season thus far and I am a mixed bag when it comes to the new season.  I miss Phill Vaser and Anastasia Brown as judges. I'm not to excited about Jewel and John Rich.  I like the fact that they are letting duo's and groups but it does seem like a country version of AI.

More money now that they are off of USA means they can do more things, unfortunately it seems they will do more things like AI.
