My youngest son is now 9 years old.  We have had a long journey with many speech therapists.  Some have been good and other have just been bad.  I would like to encourage everyone who has a child with a speech disorder to never give up.  There is always hope.  Prayer can take you a long way.  When my son was born it never occurred to me he wouldn't learn to talk.  I had never even heard of speech delay.  But he can talk.  And he has come a long way.  We have some more work to do.  But God has been with us each step of the way.  I found a website called Nathan.  It is geared for parents with special needs kids.  It was a huge blessing to get a product that I can use at home with my son.  We are homeschooling our boys.  We did not want our son to end up with a label in a special ed class room.  He is very bright and amazes me everyday with everything he learns.
