The Losers

Went and saw "The Losers" last night.  Have to say, it was much better than I thought it would be.

It's your basic action flick - no deep introspection or soul-searching in this one.  No Oscars will be forthcoming.

+ Plenty of action sequences.  The pace keeps moving.
+ The characters are reasonably intelligent and developed, without getting bogged down in character development.
+ It manages to be anti-war without being anti-soldier.
+ It has a romantic sideline that remains interesting without taking over the movie.
+ It lacks a lot of the course language most action films like to spew.
+ No actual nudity (bra & panties in one scene is as risque' as it gets)
+ Small bits of comedy throughout keep the movie from getting over-serious or preachy

Men and teenage boys will like this film.  Women will find it tolerable.
