I composed a message in the Introduction section introducing myself and giving some background, but it got "blipped" away and I'm not going through that again.  Synopsis:

  • li]I'm a woman who lives in a suburb between Dallas and Fort Worth, TX
    • Attend a small church, about 300, biker-friendly church, tho I'm not a biker - but a professional woman - not everyone rides - a mixed group - from a member of the City council, business men and women, to bikers who belonged to other "organizations" prior to accepting Christ as their Savior.  The Word of God is preached and taught without any dogma attached.

      • I attend a Bible Study presented from the Hebraic point of view - the actual words and meaning of scripture, especially the Torah, and connecting the OT with the NT. We learn about the culture and political practices of that day.
      • I also participate in the Bible Study Fellowship which is an international organization. We studied the book of Isaiah from mid-September to mid-May - a very tough, intensive, but rewarding study.  Starting this Sepember we will be studying the book of Acts, Corinthians and other of Paul's letters.

Thank you for this forum. I think it's interesting and one can grow in their journey and also have a little fun along the way.

Peace to my brothrs and sisters.li]

It's good to welcome you Sister TXChica. I have read a post of yours on numerology, or the meaning of certain words. Thanks for joining our fellowship, and I hope we are a blessing to you in Jesus' name.

Thank you Larry for the welcome. I believe I can learn a lot from the varioius forums - and even get a laugh or two.  Wednesday has a great sense of humor and I appreciate that because life can be hard enough. We need every opportunity to laugh. God created us with a "laugh gene" and sometimes mine works overtime.  Blessings to you!

Yes your laugh gene does work overtime, and that is a good thing!  I'm so glad you are here!   ::hug::

(Note to Larry2, watch this as she is capable of causing trouble ~ we will try not to keep you too busy! ::hiding::  snicker...grin)
