The number: This figure is based on the number of abortions for the last two years available (2003 & 2004), as estimated by the Alan Guttmacher Institute, the research arm of Planned Parenthood. From there it calculates the average number of abortions daily, and multiplied by the number of days since the year 2000 started. The result is calculated and automatically updated several times per week. Please put this ticker on your website, blog, Facebook or Myspace page to help raise awareness.
