IamStefanie

I know this is an older thread, but since it has been revived, I would like to respond...even if the lady or any lady is in a healthy weight range, it is the behaviors that have become unattractive. A woman may birth children or have a medical condition that can cause weight gain. But, if she is still doing what she needs to do to take the best care of her body, then a man who loves her should look over other things. Now, if he is saying 'she gained weight' despite her best efforts, that is a shallow individual. Same goes for a man who gains weight for a reason he cannot control directly but still cares for his body and his wife/girlfriends responds in an improper way.

But as a woman, I am single, but I think about how I have some bad habits, and I do not want those habits to take over or become a big part of my life when I'm in a relationship. Even if I carry some extra weight now, I still desire to look presentable for myself first and my mate second. And I expect the same from my spouse. I would get bored with someone VERY quickly if he didn't take care of himself and looked like he didn't care. So I basically treat my spouse and the relationship the way I'd want to be treated.

I'm just sayin...

Hi Im Minister MarcAlan of FHL Fruit Of Life..Yes physical attraction is important to a relationship..The question you have to ask yourself is "Would I have wanted to be with her if she looked this way when we first met?"..If the answer is "NO"..Than I would say you have a problem because as long as she is looking this way you wont be satisfied or happy or attracted to her..And obviously you cant marry someone you are not attracted too.. You have to be honest with her and simply tell her you are no longer attracted to her and that you want to help her lose weight and be healthy..If she refuses this..Then it could be you and her are just not meant to be..Because if she cant lose 30 pounds for you..That speaks to a bigger problem of what you mean to her..Because as a wife she would have sacrifice a lot more than food and 30 pounds...Remember weight is a touchy subject especially for women..She will accuse you of being a jerk instead of acknowledging she needs to lose the weight and take better care of herself..No matter what happens just remember God has a wife for you and plan for your life..God bless bro stay encouraged in your faith
