Hi All....
Does everyone know the next big event coming any day or year to our planet?
No, it's not Jesus coming back to reign for a thousand years.
It's the seven year peace plan.
You can lose your soul if you are deceived by the coming Antichrist.
Here is the best short video I have found explaining this end times prophecy in detail.

Have a great day!

40 minutes IS NOT a short video.

The video supposedly addresses the prophecies of Daniel.

NOT

While scripture doesn't lie, liars can quote scripture - and often do.   The devil tempted Jesus with scripture on several occasions.  If it could happen to Jesus it WILL happen to us.

The absolute #1 stumbling block for most false prophets today is that they claim to interpret ancient prophecy, BUT DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT DAY IT IS.   How can someone predict tomorrow when they can't tell you where the calendar tells them they are today?

The GREGORIAN CALENDAR that sits on your desk or hangs on your kitchen wall wasn't adopted by Europeans until the year 1582.  It's a solar calendar, meaning it's based upon one orbit of the earth around the sun - 1 year.   Prior to 1582 the entire world relied upon a lunar calendar - 1 orbit of the moon around the earth.   We know this astronomical event as a month.  Thus 12 lunar years = 1 solar year.  Simple?  Not so simple if you attempt to apply a Gregorian calendar to time periods measured in lunar years.

Islam is a modern religion that STILL marks the passage of time in lunar years.

Hebrew calendars add confusion to the mixture because they track lunar years AS WELL AS solar years.   Ask a local rabbi to share the annual calendar he passes out to his congregation each years.  They are free and he'll be glad to give you one.   Reading the Hebrew calendar one will notice both lunar and solar time on the same calendar.

SO......if a false prophet asserts Daniel predicted 7 YEARS.....please answer one simple question.   Was Daniel speaking of lunar years (7 months) or was he speaking of solar years?

If a false interpretation doesn't know what day it is on the calendar how can it possibly be certain as to the rest of the events predicted?  It can't.

(Hint:  There is a way, but at this point I'll just let the writer of the quoted post stew in his own juice.)

that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

PS
I first encountered this problem with calendars when researching my first book on Atlantis.  For example, most interpretations of the destruction of Atlantis (not the real name of the city, by the way) quote Plato who cited a time approximately 9,000 years before his own.   Modern interpretations suggest the elapsed time was solar years, but fail to remember the Gregorian calendar wasn't adopted until 1582 AD.   Plato lived in the 4th century BC (Gregorian time) and wrote of the fall of Atlantis approximately 9,000 years before his time.  (9,000 lunar years / 12 solar years = 750 years).  Add the two together and the resultant time in Gregorian calendar years is approximately 1100 - 1200 BC.  Thus the fall of Atlantis is closer to the modern age than most estimates BECAUSE the appropriate calendar isn't calculated.

Just in case you're interested the name of the city was AULLAGAS in the native tongue - not Atlantis as Plato insisted.  Google Aullagas and get a surprise.  It's in Bolivia, a land locked country, not at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

And if you do Google it make sure to /Atlantis or / Bolivia or you get a real strange drop down list.

BTW, I appreciate the calendar lesson, but as this poster posted in 2018 I doubt they will benefit from it

Have a great day!

Have you noticed how a question is posed as a thread title when NO QUESTION is asked?

Instead a personal ideology is advanced as a statement rather than a question.

I have a question of my own.

Why?
