Quote from: Rella on Fri Feb 28, 2025 - 09:02:55I clicked on this and started to read and almost dropped my coffee in my lap.

His message to world leaders is to embrace peace and work for reconciliation by entrusting their souls to Mary.

Yes, and our governments on both the federal and state levels, are ever increasingly filled with members of the Catholic denomination. All of whom no doubt pray to and seek the intercession of the dead on their and our nations behalf. Who do you think if anyone, will respond to and answer those prayers?

http://adventmessenger.org/vice-president-vance-defends-pope-francis-papacy-by-calling-him-holy-father-and-a-great-shepherd-who-tells-the-truth/

Quoted article below from link above, where video of Vice President Vance' speech may be viewed.

QuoteVice President Vance Defends Pope Francis' Papacy by Calling Him "Holy Father" and a Great Shepherd Who Tells the Truth

Vice President JD Vance, a Catholic convert, has expressed respect for the pontiff's leadership. Speaking at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast on February 28, 2025, Vance acknowledged Pope Francis' recent critique of the Trump administration's immigration policies but instead emphasized his respect for the Pope's dedication to the global Catholic community, leading a prayer for Francis' health during the event. Vance described the Pope as a true shepherd who cares about the flock of Christians under his leadership. This stance highlights Vance's recognition of Pope Francis as the legitimate head of the Catholic Church, despite the ultra-conservatives within the Church who question the Pope's legitimacy. Vance also warned conservative Catholics not to be so preoccupied with every word uttered from the Papacy.

JD Vance is by far the most influential, conservative Roman Catholic in the United States and has emerged as a prominent leader within the Christian conservative movement, exemplified by his active support of Project 2025, calling it an "essential weapon." [1] JD Vance also praised Kevin Roberts, President of The Heritage Foundation and architect of Project 2025, by writing the foreword in Roberts' new book. [2] Through such endorsements and his influential political role, Vance has positioned himself at the forefront of efforts to infuse government policies with Christian conservative principles in America, reflecting the strategic objectives of Project 2025.

And despite his differences with Pope Francis, Vance continues to recognize the current Papacy as the true authority of the Church and remains united with him in faith—whom he called the "Holy Father." Tragically, this is a title that belongs only to God. The Bible makes it clear that God alone is our Father, as Jesus Himself teaches in Matthew 23:9: "And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven." This verse emphasizes that ultimately all authority praise belongs solely to God. The use of the title "Holy Father" for any man, including the Pope, contradicts this biblical teaching. Scripture calls believers to honor and follow God's word above human traditions, ensuring that reverence is given only to the One who is truly sovereign.

This is the problem with supposed Roman Catholic Conservatism, which JD Vance pretty much represents. They tout conservatism, but continue to refer to communist and socialist leaning, totally woke supporting, globalist and mass migration facilitating, wealth redistribution managing, equity over equality pushing, climate change and vaccine mandating pushing and enforcer popes, as Holy Fathers. A blasphemous reference at best. This is not to mention the intended political implementation of all of the above according Roman Catholic Social Doctrine as defined by this pope. Or the dangerous Catholic doctrines such as seeking council and intercession from the dead, which this pope and all others recommend. All representing major ill effects upon this or any other nation adopting such.

Welcome to the modern Romanized world. As our nation is continually and increasingly sucked into Roman Catholicism via the supposed battle between "liberal" or "conservative" Roman Catholics. Who yet all acknowledge mere men of either radical liberal or conservative views, as Holy Fathers.

Mat 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

Quoted article below from link above.

QuoteNo Matter Who the Next Pope is, Rome's Mission Remains the Same

Regardless of whether the next pope is conservative, moderate, or liberal, the Vatican operates according to a long-standing prophetic agenda that transcends any individual leader. All popes, regardless of their political or social leanings, have publicly and emphatically emphasized "Sunday sacredness" and the "immortality of the soul," or spiritualism—the "two great errors" that Satan will use to "bring the people under his deceptions" (Great Controversy, p. 588). No matter who sits on the papal throne, the system itself is moving toward the fulfillment of these predictions, ensuring that what has been prophesied will come to pass.

According to an article published by The Gateway Pundit on February 25, 2025, Pope Francis has strategically appointed a significant number of cardinals who align with his progressive vision for the Catholic Church, effectively stacking the College of Cardinals to ensure that his successor continues his left-leaning agenda. The article says that Pope Francis has effectively shifted the ideological balance of the voting body that will elect the next Pope through the record number of cardinals he has appointed. Many of his appointees share his views on social and theological issues, ensuring that when the time comes to choose his successor, the majority of voting cardinals will be inclined to elect someone who will carry forward Francis' progressive legacy, making it highly unlikely that a conservative Pope will reclaim the Papacy in the immediate future.

The Gateway Pundit published the following:

• "Out of 138 Cardinals eligible to vote for the next Pope – under the age of 80 – no less than 110 were appointed by Pope Francis – about 80 percent."

• "With his appointments, he wants to ensure a process that produces a Pope that the Church needs for these times."

• "With so many members of the College of Cardinals appointed by him, 'progressives' are expected to easily have the numbers to overcome the conservatives."

According to the book Great Controversy, the papacy's ultimate goal remains unchanged, regardless of who gets elected next—and that mission is to regain religious and political authority on a global scale and influence the nations, especially the United States, to enforce its doctrines, particularly Sunday observance. While different popes may adopt varying strategies—some emphasizing ecumenism, others reinforcing traditionalism—the underlying mission of the Vatican is steady and unwavering.

"The Roman Church is far-reaching in her plans and modes of operation. She is employing every device to extend her influence and increase her power in preparation for a fierce and determined conflict to regain control of the world, to re-establish persecution, and to undo all that Protestantism has done. Catholicism is gaining ground upon every side" (Great Controversy, p. 565).

Here we are told that the Papacy is seeking to regain the temporal power and influence it held during the Middle Ages. Rome's ultimate goal is to unite church and state under its authority by enforcing religious observance through civil power. Sister White also warns that the papacy aims to undermine religious freedom, impose its doctrines—especially Sunday worship over the biblical Sabbath—and eventually lead the world into a system of spiritual deception that opposes God's truth.

"The dignitaries of church and state will unite to bribe, persuade, or compel all classes to honor the Sunday. The lack of divine authority will be supplied by oppressive enactments. Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth; and even in free America, rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favor, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance" (Great Controversy, p. 592).

This is the strategy that the Vatican is working on: Protestant America will form an image of the beast and will use its economic and political strength to impose the worship of the papacy, and all the world will get on board.

"The United States shall enforce Sunday observance, which Rome claims as the special acknowledgment of her supremacy. But in this homage to the papacy the United States will not be alone. The influence of Rome in the countries that once acknowledged her dominion is still far from being destroyed ... In both the Old and the New World, the papacy will receive homage in the honor paid to the Sunday institution, that rests solely upon the authority of the Roman Church" (Great Controversy, p. 578).

Rome's influence is steadily strengthening across the world, particularly in American politics. Through its many agents, including Catholic and Evangelical politicians, the Papacy is subtly advancing its agenda, working to unite church and state under its moral authority. In the United States, Protestant churches and political leaders are increasingly aligning with the Catholic model of church-state partnerships on issues like prayer in public schools, family values, supporting Christian policies, and Sunday observance.

As Ellen G. White warned, this growing religious awakening in our political systems is leading toward a time when Rome's true purposes will be revealed—when laws enforcing its doctrines, especially Sunday sacredness, will be enacted under the guise of saving our Christian society, thus fulfilling prophecy and bringing the final crisis upon God's faithful people.

http://adventmessenger.org/donald-trumps-administration-held-an-ash-wednesday-catholic-mass-on-the-white-house-grounds/

Quoted article below from link above.

QuoteDonald Trump's Administration Held an Ash Wednesday Catholic Mass on the White House Grounds

The Oval Office, the personal office of the President of the United States, is situated in the West Wing of the White House in Washington D.C. Adjacent to the Oval Office is the Eisenhower Executive Office, which houses the Vice President and the offices of the White House staff. Together, they form part of the White House Complex.

On March 5, 2025, the Trump Administration held a Catholic Mass for the White House staff on the White House grounds. Catholic News Agency reported on the event.

"A Catholic Mass was reportedly celebrated for the staff at the White House today in observance of Ash Wednesday."

• "An email from the White House Management Office informed staff that the Mass would take place in the Indian Treaty Room at 8:30 a.m. The Indian Treaty Room is located in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, adjacent to the White House."

• "President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump also issued a greeting for Ash Wednesday."

• "This Ash Wednesday, we join in prayer with the tens of millions of American Catholics and other Christians beginning the holy season of Lent."

• "It further noted: 'Today, followers of Christ wear crosses of ash on their foreheads — a sacred reminder of our mortality and our enduring need for Christ's infinite mercy and redeeming love'."

The growing influence of Roman Catholicism in America is evident in recent political and cultural shifts favoring Catholic doctrine and traditions. For instance, a Roman Catholic Mass was held on the White House grounds, right next to the Oval Office. This unprecedented event symbolizes the deepening connection between church and state, indicating a move toward greater religious influence in government affairs. It reflects how Catholic principles are being embraced at the highest levels of power, aligning with the broader trend of religious unity and ecumenism.

As policies and leadership decisions increasingly reflect Catholic teachings, it becomes clear that the nation is heading toward a moment of profound transformation. For those who view history through the lens of prophecy, this merging of church and state is a significant sign that the final crisis foretold in Scripture is drawing near, as the world prepares for the ultimate test between the commandments of God and the traditions of men.

Project 2025, authored by prominent Catholic and Evangelical figures, serves as a strategic roadmap for Christian nationalists seeking to reshape the United States government along religious lines. Historically, all movements that unite church and state ultimately lead to Rome, as the Vatican has long been the central authority in merging political power with religious influence. As America moves toward this model, the warnings of history grow louder, warning that such a union inevitably leads to tyranny.

"The mingling of church craft and statecraft is represented by the iron and the clay. This union is weakening all the power of the churches. This investing the church with the power of the state will bring evil results. Men have almost passed the point of God's forbearance. They have invested their strength in politics, and have united with the papacy. But the time will come when God will punish those who have made void His law, and their evil work will recoil upon themselves" (Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, p. 1168).

Without question, the pendulum of Hegelian Dialectic reasoning, cause, and effect is swinging rapidly right. This is of course in reaction to the radical left swing of the Biden Presidency and administration. While it is the definite intention of the evil one and his minions to swing either side far enough to drop the pendulum down into its death stroke for the guaranteed freedoms and liberties our nation and Constitution has represented, it should be the definite purpose of God's true church and people to prevent these diabolical designs. They should occupy and or fully support neither the right nor left. Rather occupying a middle ground of common sense and above all biblically inspired and principled government, which upholds the bibles highest moral standards, yet fully embraces the toleration of the many differing views and beliefs of humanity. As our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ manifested when here as one of us, as our perfect example.

This that neither Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Atheists, or what have you, need ever fear persecution for their beliefs and or practices. Nor either be treated by government with undue favor unto the same results. If God believed in any method of conversion other than personal conviction and choice, all would agree and worship Him in truth right this very moment, or else. How dare therefore, any person, institution, religion, or government of mere men, presume this prerogative which belongs to God alone, which He Himself has determined is not acceptable. Antichrist alone will tread this dangerous soul damning path.

The left was pushing to far into the area of personal choice and conscience even with legislation, censorship, canceling, law suits, and unethical if not downright criminal financial support of their own agendas with tax payers monies. Secular Humanism is a faith choice, just like all the other religious faiths among us. Which as such, cannot be supported by government as it has been for quite some time now, according to our founding Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Therefore also is it problematic, to see Roman Catholic teaching and practice performed, and also therefore taught within the White House itself. Especially with the infamous history that is attached to that specific religion concerning governmental support, intolerance, abuse, persecution, and what have you. Which mindset crept into Protestant nations as well. Both of the abuses of which were addressed, and effectively ended in this once predominantly Protestant nation. As an extension of biblical and Protestant teaching and tolerance.

Let us all and especially God's very own, wisely consider and seek to remind all today of the important lessons of history addressed in the following quote of one of our founding fathers.

QuoteExcerpts from  - John Adams - A Dissertation on the Canon and Feudal Law (On man's standing in the order of creation)

..............................

The poor people, it is true, have been much less successful than the great. They have seldom found either leisure or opportunity to form a union and exert their strength; ignorant as they were of arts and letters, they have seldom been able to frame and support a regular opposition. This, however, has been known by the great to be the temper of mankind; and they have accordingly labored, in all ages, to wrest from the populace, as they are contemptuously called, the knowledge of their rights and wrongs, and the power to assert the former or redress the latter. I say RIGHTS, for such they have, undoubtedly, antecedent to all earthly government, -- Rights, that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws -- Rights, derived from the great Legislator of the universe.

Since the promulgation of Christianity, the two greatest systems of tyranny that have sprung from this original, are the canon and the feudal law. The desire of dominion, that great principle by which we have attempted to account for so much good and so much evil, is, when properly restrained, a very useful and noble movement in the human mind. But when such restraints are taken off, it becomes an encroaching, grasping, restless, and ungovernable power. Numberless have been the systems of iniquity contrived by the great for the gratification of this passion in themselves; but in none of them were they ever more successful than in the invention and establishment of the canon and the feudal law.

By the former of these, the most refined, sublime, extensive, and astonishing constitution of policy that ever was conceived by the mind of man was framed by the Romish clergy for the aggrandisement of their own order. All the epithets I have here given to the Romish policy are just, and will be allowed to be so when it is considered, that they even persuaded mankind to believe, faithfully and undoubtingly, that God Almighty had entrusted them with the keys of heaven, whose gates they might open and close at pleasure; with a power of dispensation over all the rules and obligations of morality; with authority to license all sorts of sins and crimes; with a power of deposing princes and absolving subjects from allegiance; with a power of procuring or withholding the rain of heaven and the beams of the sun; with the management of earthquakes, pestilence, and famine; nay, with the mysterious, awful, incomprehensible power of creating out of bread and wine the flesh and blood of God himself. All these opinions they were enabled to spread and rivet among the people by reducing their minds to a state of sordid ignorance and staring timidity, and by infusing into them a religious horror of letters and knowledge. Thus was human nature chained fast for ages in a cruel, shameful, and deplorable servitude to him, and his subordinate tyrants, who, it was foretold, would exalt himself above all that was called God, and that was worshipped....................................

But another event still more calamitous to human liberty, was a wicked confederacy between the two systems of tyranny above described. It seems to have been even stipulated between them, that the temporal grandees should contribute every thing in their power to maintain the ascendency of the priesthood, and that the spiritual grandees in their turn, should employ their ascendency over the consciences of the people, in impressing on their minds a blind, implicit obedience to civil magistracy. Thus, as long as this confederacy lasted, and the people were held in ignorance, liberty, and with her, knowledge and virtue too, seem to have deserted the earth, and one age of darkness succeeded another, till God in his benign providence raised up the champions who began and conducted the Reformation. From the time of the Reformation to the first settlement of America, knowledge gradually spread in Europe, but especially in England; and in proportion as that increased and spread among the people, ecclesiastical and civil tyranny, which I use as synonymous expressions for the canon and feudal laws, seem to have lost their strength and weight. The people grew more and more sensible of the wrong that was done them by these systems, more and more impatient under it, and determined at all hazards to rid themselves of it; till at last, under the execrable race of the Stuarts, the struggle between the people and the confederacy aforesaid of temporal and spiritual tyranny, became formidable, violent, and bloody.

It was this great struggle that peopled America. It was not religion alone, as is commonly supposed; but it was a love of universal liberty, and a hatred, a dread, a horror, of the infernal confederacy before described, that projected, conducted, and accomplished the settlement of America.

Quote5 Cardinals, 3 Jesuit Institutions, 88 Bishops, Catholic Theologians and Journalists Unite to Push Pope Francis' Policies in the United States

On March 19, 2025, Vatican News published a story about how prominent Catholic leaders and influencers, notably members of the Jesuit community, have convened to strategize on implementing Pope Francis' vision within American society. In an article titled "Fordham University Hosts Conference Dedicated to Spreading Pope's Vision in US," participants, including 5 cardinals, 3 Jesuit institutions, 88 bishops, Catholic theologians, and journalists, gathered to host a conference in which these leaders collectively emphasized that Pope Francis is the most wise and credible leader in the world today, guiding us all to a better future.

Vatican News published the following:

• "The series of gatherings, entitled 'The Way Forward', is jointly organized by Fordham University (Jesuit), Loyola University Chicago (Jesuit), Boston College (Jesuit), and Sacred Heart University."

• "Loyola's Michael P. Murphy, one of the conference's organizers, spoke to Vatican News about this year's event. The goal of the conference, Murphy said, was to 'host conversations that are helpful to the US Church', rooted in 'the vision of Vatican II in the way that Pope Francis imagines'."

• "The conference brought together eighty-eight Catholic bishops, theologians, journalists, philanthropists and 'public-facing Catholics', including five cardinals, for a series of talks spread over three days, from the 12th to the 14th of March."

• "The conference, Murphy suggested, was particularly resonant in today's charged geopolitical environment. Current events, he said, have demonstrated that 'Pope Francis is the most credible and wise leader we have in the world right now.' 'They have also demonstrated anew,' Murphy said, 'that the Catholic tradition has a lot to offer in the public square—creative and socially helpful ideas that meet people where they are'."

• "This means that a major focus of the conference is on concrete results—and the organizers also meet up in between the conferences, which are annual, to discuss implementation."

• "Many of the talks at the conference, which were delivered by Catholic theologians, were devoted to academic topics, from 'Fratelli Tutti in an Ecclesial Context' to 'Forming Consciences and Prudential Judgements'."

• "Last year's conference, on Laudato Si, Murphy said, led to the formation of the Common Home Corps, an environmental formation program for young adults in the US, and plans to fund sustainability officials in Catholic organizations across the country."

U.S. Catholic leaders have gathered to discuss plans about integrating Pope Francis' teachings into the "public square." They are not just advocating for Catholics to embrace the Pope's message; they are strategizing and conspiring to get our nation to reflect Catholic doctrines. Anytime religious leaders seek to influence public policy and bring our laws in line with the church's teaching, this act is just another attempt to unite church and state.

Can we not grasp the magnitude of what is happening? The Jesuits are collaborating with the senior Catholic leadership in America, and together, they are openly and publicly supporting the idea of transforming Protestant America into an image of the Papal hierarchy. This is something that aligns with the Christian nationalist agenda. There is a growing movement in which both Protestants and Catholics are working on a plan to advance legislation in America to promote Christian values in society. This will lead to the creation of the image of the beast when they cross the line and impose Sunday rest on society, paving the way for the mark of the beast crisis.

"These records of the past clearly reveal the enmity of Rome toward the true Sabbath and its defenders, and the means which she employs to honor the institution of her creating. The Word of God teaches that these scenes are to be repeated as papists and Protestants shall unite for the exaltation of the Sunday" (Great Controversy, p. 578).

Yea. This one has actually been around for a while. It would cause big problems though, for both Sabbath and Sunday observers today. Making both of their observances of the past, wrong.

QuoteTrump Praised a Catholic Cathedral, calling it a "Monument to God and to the Patron Saint," while J.D. Vance gave a White House tour to a Dominican Priest

"In the movements now in progress in the United States to secure for the institutions and usages of the church the support of the state, Protestants are following in the steps of papists. Nay, more, they are opening the door for the papacy to regain in Protestant America the supremacy which she has lost in the Old World" (Great Controversy, p. 573).

On Monday, March 17, 2025, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance celebrated Saint Patrick's Day, a Catholic tradition honoring the feast day of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. Donald Trump expressed that our nation loves Saint Patrick's Day and that the Saint Patrick's Cathedral, a symbol of the deep roots of Catholicism in the US and the seat of the Archbishop of New York, was a monument to God and to the patron saint—Saint Patrick.

The idea that Christians should pray to the saints, asking for their intercession before God, believing they can advocate for us, is a custom originating in Rome. President Donald Trump is recognizing the veneration of human traditions above the commandments of God. Protestant America is exalting the traditions of the papacy through the Office of the U.S. presidency.

Vice President JD Vance celebrated Saint Patrick's Day by bringing a Dominican priest into the White House briefing room, located inside the West Wing of the White House, near the Oval Office. This is where the president and his secretary hold briefings to communicate about the US government's policies and decisions. It is obvious that Roman Catholicism has strong ties to the highest levels of American politics, not by accident, but rather as a sign of Rome's growing influence.

From the presence of Catholic justices shaping the Supreme Court to the increasing number of Catholic politicians in key government positions—including the vice president, cabinet officials, and members of Congress—Rome's sway over Protestant American policy and governance is unmistakable. This influence extends beyond mere religious affiliation or association but will also be manifest when our nation embarks on an alliance with the Vatican to promote Sunday sacredness. As Protestant America seeks to restore Christianity through the union of church and state, this will only catapult Rome's prestige and power. We are told that as Protestants work to steer the nation into an image of the beast, this will only bring reverence and power to the papacy in fulfillment of a bigger prophetic plan:

"Protestants little know what they are doing when they propose to accept the aid of Rome in the work of Sunday exaltation. While they are bent upon the accomplishment of their purpose, Rome is aiming to re-establish her power, to recover her lost supremacy ... Let the principle once be established in the United States, that the church may employ or control the power of the State; that religious observances may be enforced by secular laws; in short, that the authority of church and State is to dominate the conscience, and the triumph of Rome in this country is assured" (Great Controversy, p. 580).

http://adventmessenger.org/us-catholic-bishops-support-a-supreme-court-lawsuit-that-would-establish-the-nations-first-publicly-funded-catholic-indoctrination-charter-school/

Quoted article below from link above.

QuoteUS Catholic Bishops Support a Supreme Court Lawsuit that would Establish the Nation's First Publicly Funded Catholic Indoctrination Charter School

While many states are setting aside public funds for parents wanting to send their children to private Christian schools, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is supporting a lawsuit currently before the US Supreme Court in which a Catholic school, being run by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and Tulsa, is seeking direct government funding for religious education. If successful, this would be the first religious charter school in the country, and this case will set a significant national precedent for religious schools, giving them the same charter status and funding as regular public schools. This ruling will force taxpayers to fund Catholic and other Christian education nationwide.

This case would fundamentally change American society as it would remove the US Constitution's ban on the "establishment of religion" by the government. This would essentially convert our public schools into Sunday Catholic schools if the US Supreme Court, which has a Catholic majority, permits this.

Catholic News Agency reported the following on March 15, 2025:

• "The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is backing an Oklahoma Catholic school's bid before the U.S. Supreme Court to become the first religious charter school in the country."

• "St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School has been battling since 2023 to receive official status as a charter school in Oklahoma."

• "A state 'cannot disqualify some private schools' from being subsidized 'solely because they are religious,' the U.S. bishops wrote."

• "Two dozen amicus briefs were filed at the Supreme Court in support of the Catholic charter school, including from the U.S. Solicitor General's Office and the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America."

• "Also backing the school were a dozen states including Ohio, Texas, South Carolina, and Kansas, who argued in a brief that they have a compelling interest in expanding educational opportunities for their citizens."

• "Oral arguments over the case will be heard at the Supreme Court on April 30."

If the Catholic-led U.S. Supreme Court rules that taxpayer money can directly fund religious education, this would basically entangle the state with the church, effectively endorsing and promoting the wine of Babylon—church traditions—using public money. This would set a precedent undermining the constitutional principle of church-state separation. Additionally, such a ruling could lead to many more demands for public funding from other religious groups, forcing taxpayers to support all kinds of religious doctrines they may not agree with, which contradicts the fundamental American ideal of government neutrality in religious affairs.

While Protestant groups, particularly Evangelical Christians, have been leading efforts to unite church and state at various state levels—pushing for policies like school prayer, religious exemptions, and faith-based public funding—Catholics are not being left behind in this movement. The Catholic Church, through organizations like the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and various advocacy groups, is actively working to bring these same changes at the national level, integrating religious values into public life.

Ellen White dedicated an entire chapter in her book, The Great Controversy, in which she highlighted the work that Rome would be doing with Protestants in the last days. The chapter is called "Character and Aims of the Papacy" and reveals the following reality—clearly and unmistakably—that we can never take our eyes off of Rome, for she is the most dangerous foe to religious liberty, and the world needs to know this:

"Catholicism is gaining ground upon every side. See the increasing number of her churches and chapels in Protestant countries. Look at the popularity of her colleges and seminaries in America, so widely patronized by Protestants. Look at the growth of ritualism in England, and the frequent defections to the ranks of the Catholics. These things should awaken the anxiety of all who prize the pure principles of the gospel. Protestants have tampered with and patronized popery; they have made compromises and concessions which papists themselves are surprised to see, and fail to understand. Men are closing their eyes to the real character of Romanism, and the dangers to be apprehended from her supremacy. The people need to be aroused to resist the advances of this most dangerous foe to civil and religious liberty." (Great Controversy, pp. 565, 566).

Inspiration makes it very evident that we must "see" and "look" at how Rome has deceived Protestantism and is working to undermine our freedoms. We are also reminded that people are "closing their eyes" to "Romanism." Additionally, God states that the world must be aroused to resist Rome's policies against religious liberty. Brothers and sisters, that's what God says. Remember, it's the devil and his agents who will tell you to ignore Rome, at the very time when God is calling us to "look" and "see" what this power is doing, and more importantly, calling us to resist her advances.

We have to continue doing what God has commanded us to do. Rome's plans for the last days have been covered in detail in this chapter, and we are seeing it all come to pass. God put this chapter in Great Controversy so that people would know who the key players are and not be deceived. It is only as we are faithful to the Lord's leading that we will be safe from Satan's devices and many others will be saved by heeding the warnings.

Pope Leo Calls for Full Communion Among All Believers and the Rejection of All Forms of Fundamentalism and Fanaticism

In his recent appeal, Pope Leo XVI calls for full communion among all religions and for the rejection of all forms of "fundamentalism." At first glance, this may sound like a simple invitation to global unity—but it isn't. His own words make it clear that there will be no room for those who stand firmly on Scripture or who proclaim the distinct end-time warnings of Revelation 13 and 14. Rome's vision of universal fraternity and its emerging global spiritual-economic order will ultimately exclude faithful Adventists who proclaim the Third Angel's Message.

On November 28, 2025, the Vatican released the following statement from Pope Leo XIV:

• "The more we are reconciled, the more we Christians can bear credible witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is a proclamation of hope for all. Moreover, it is a message of peace and universal fraternity that transcends the boundaries of our communities and nations."

• "The desire for full communion among all believers in Jesus Christ is always accompanied by the search for fraternity among all human beings."

• "There is a universal fraternity of men and women regardless of ethnicity, nationality, religion or personal perspectives."

• "Furthermore, we must strongly reject the use of religion for justifying war, violence, or any form of fundamentalism or fanaticism. Instead, the paths to follow are those of fraternal encounter, dialogue and cooperation."

The Vatican defines unity in terms of universal fraternity, not in terms of biblical truth. The "fraternity" Pope Leo XIV promotes is not grounded in the commandments of God or in the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12), but in the deliberate setting aside of doctrinal differences so Christianity can speak with a single, ecumenical voice. This is not inclusive because it will only include those who do not challenge the authority of Rome and those who do not expose their sins.

Seventh-day Adventists believe that the "beast" in Bible prophecy refers to the papal system, which will one day lead the world to accept the mark of the beast. Because of that, the kind of world unity Rome wants cannot include people who warn others about this or who identify the papacy as the Antichrist. Our message—the Three Angels' Messages—doesn't fit with the global religious unity the Pope is trying to create. That's why he tells people to reject what he calls "fundamentalism" and "fanaticism," which, in Catholic teaching, includes anyone who puts the Bible above church tradition.

The truth is that the Three Angels' Messages are God's final warning for the last days. In Revelation 14, these messages are sent to "every nation, kindred, tongue, and people" as heaven's last great act of mercy before Jesus returns. They lift up Christ as the only Savior, expose the dangers of false worship, and call people into a relationship with God that is built on obedience, faith, and trust. If the world listens to this final message—if individuals choose to worship the Creator, come out of Babylon, and reject the mark of the beast—then the way is opened for them to receive eternal life in Christ's kingdom.

QuotePope Francis Declares That Christian Fundamentalists Are "A Scourge"

The Pope considers millions upon millions of American Christians to be a plague that is infecting our planet

Why does it seem like virtually everyone wants to attack Christian fundamentalists these days?

Two weeks ago, Pope Francis made some extremely controversial remarks, but those remarks really didn't get much attention from the mainstream media.  Of course if the Pope had targeted the LGBTQ community or some other favored group, it would have instantly made headlines all over the globe.  But he didn't.  Instead, Pope Francis specifically attacked fundamentalists, and in today's world that is considered to be perfectly okay.  The following comes from the official transcript of the remarks that the Pope made on the 18th of November...

Beware of the fundamentalist groups: everyone has his own. In Argentina too there is a little fundamentalist corner. And let us try, with fraternity, to go forward. Fundamentalism is a scourge and all religions have some kind of fundamentalist first cousin there, which forms a group.

Ostensibly, these remarks apply to fundamentalists from all religions.  But by mentioning Argentina, the Pope made it exceedingly clear who his real target was.

There aren't any "Muslim fundamentalists" or "Hindu fundamentalists" in Argentina.  The fundamentalists that he was referring to are the Christian fundamentalists in Argentina, and in the very next sentence he denounced such people as "a scourge".

Of course "a scourge" is another way of saying "a plague", and what do we try to do to "a plague" when one breaks out?

That is something to think about.

And although the term "fundamentalist" is now sometimes used to refer to other religions, from the very beginning it has always been a Christian term.  The following comes from the Encyclopedia Britannica...

Christian fundamentalism, movement in American Protestantism that arose in the late 19th century in reaction to theological modernism, which aimed to revise traditional Christian beliefs to accommodate new developments in the natural and social sciences, especially the theory of biological evolution. In keeping with traditional Christian doctrines concerning biblical interpretation, the mission of Jesus Christ, and the role of the church in society, fundamentalists affirmed a core of Christian beliefs that included the historical accuracy of the Bible, the imminent and physical Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and Christ's Virgin Birth, Resurrection (see resurrection), and Atonement (see atonement). Fundamentalism became a significant phenomenon in the early 20th century and remained an influential movement in American society into the 21st century.

Well, it is basically someone that believes the Bible is literally true, that believes that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again, and that believes that Jesus is coming back someday.

In other words, the Pope considers millions upon millions of American Christians to be a plague that is infecting our planet.

During those same remarks on the 18th of November, the Pope also once again pushed his "interreligious cooperation" agenda...

As I said during the World Conference of Human Fraternity: "There is no alternative: we will either build the future together or there will not be a future. Religions, in particular, cannot renounce the urgent task of building bridges between peoples and cultures. The time has come when religions should more actively exert themselves, with courage and audacity, and without pretence, to help the human family deepen the capacity for reconciliation, the vision of hope and the concrete paths of peace" (4 February 2019). Our religious traditions are a necessary source of inspiration to foster a culture of encounter. It is fundamental for there to be interreligious cooperation, based on the promotion of sincere and respectful dialogue that goes towards unity without confusion, maintaining identities. But a unity that transcends the mere political pact."

This Pope has become increasingly aggressive in his efforts to foster unity among the various major religions of the world.  Last month, he held a much publicized meeting with Thailand's supreme Buddhist patriarch Somdej Phra Maha Muneewong.  That historic meeting was held at Bangkok's famous Ratchabophit Temple, and the Pope met with the Buddhist patriarch directly in front of a 150-year-old gold statue of Buddha.  The Pope even removed his shoes as a sign of respect for the Buddhist temple.

Pope Francis also brought a gift for the Buddhist patriarch.  It was a copy of a document entitled "Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" which the Pope and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar both signed in Abu Dhabi last February.  The following is what Vatican News had to say about the exchange of this gift...

Pope Francis presented gifts to the Supreme Buddhist Patriarch, including a copy of the Abu Dhabi Declaration on "Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together". The Pope signed the document together with the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, during his visit to the United Arab Emirates in February this year.

According to Cardinal Ayuso, including the Abu Dhabi Declaration among the gifts exchanged, highlighted the importance of spreading its message on Human Fraternity for peace and coexistence beyond the Middle East to Asia.

"Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" sounds like an innocent title, but it is actually a loose blueprint for uniting the various religions of the world.

For example, at one point in the document it specifically says that the fact that there is such a diversity of religions in the world has been "willed by God in His wisdom"...

"The pluralism and the diversity of religions, colour, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings. This divine wisdom is the source from which the right to freedom of belief and the freedom to be different derives. Therefore, the fact that people are forced to adhere to a certain religion or culture must be rejected, as too the imposition of a cultural way of life that others do not accept"

In other words, this document is saying that God is pleased with all of the religions of the world and that they exist because it was His will for them to do so.

And the document concludes with an appeal for "reconciliation and fraternity" among the various religions of the world in order that "universal peace" may be achieved...

In conclusion, our aspiration is that:

this Declaration may constitute an invitation to reconciliation and fraternity among all believers, indeed among believers and non-believers, and among all people of good will;

this Declaration may be an appeal to every upright conscience that rejects deplorable violence and blind extremism; an appeal to those who cherish the values of tolerance and fraternity that are promoted and encouraged by religions;

this Declaration may be a witness to the greatness of faith in God that unites divided hearts and elevates the human soul;

this Declaration may be a sign of the closeness between East and West, between North and South, and between all who believe that God has created us to understand one another, cooperate with one another and live as brothers and sisters who love one another.

This is what we hope and seek to achieve with the aim of finding a universal peace that all can enjoy in this life.

On the political front, globalism may have lost some momentum, but in religious circles it is steaming right along.

The push for a one world religion is happening right out in the open, and very few people seem alarmed by it.

Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. 24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

What is the Popes declaration, but that there can be no future for humanity, apart from our submission to his global views and agenda? That unless we unify in rebellion against God as we attempted at the tower of Babel, but now under Papal leadership, we have no future. To the contrary though, God separated us at the tower of Babel exactly to prevent a premature unified humanity in rebellion against God again, unto universal destruction once again by direct judgement from Him.

No, but this is the peace and safety unto sudden destruction which the scriptures foretell. The Pope of Rome is that "king of fierce countenance, understanding dark sentences", who "by peace shall destroy many". His unification of humanity entails forsaking the truth, "to forsake the truth, for the sake of unity, can only lead to apostasy". His unification of humanity will entail universal apostasy, unto universal destruction. How has the world existed this long without fulfilling the Popes global vision. Why would there be no future for any, unless all submit to his vision. To be sure, he intends to persecute all who will not submit to this vision, as we can see playing out all around us.

Rev 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. 6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. 7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

QuoteUN Secretary-General and Pope Leo meet for the first time

This was the greeting between two of the world's foremost diplomatic leaders.

Pope Leo XIV and António Guterres met on Wednesday morning before the general audience. The Secretary-General of the United Nations had just come from France, where he attended a conference on the state of the oceans.

No details of their conversation have been made public, but what is clear is that both leaders share many common goals, starting with peace.

The UN's 2030 Agenda includes the fight against poverty and climate change—something the Vatican has strongly supported, beginning with Pope Francis during his visit to the United Nations in 2015.

On that occasion, Pope Francis delivered a message with a strong social impact.

POPE FRANCIS
The International Financial Agencies should care for the sustainable development of countries and should ensure that they are not subjected to oppressive lending systems which...Which far from promoting progress, subject people to mechanisms which generate greater poverty, exclusion and dependence.

And on the other hand, the Argentinian Pope was quite clear on issues such as gender ideology and the defense of life.

POPE FRANCIS
The defense of the environment and the fight against exclusion demand that we recognize a moral law written into human nature itself, one which includes the natural difference between man and woman, and absolute respect for life in all its stages and dimensions.

Pope Leo XIV has taken up the baton left by his predecessor. In several of his messages, Pope Leo has already emphasized all these concepts, especially in his most political speech to date: the one he delivered to the diplomats accredited to the Holy See.

QuotePope Leo urges stronger action as UN climate summit enters final week

BELEM, Brazil (Reuters) -Pope Leo criticized world governments on Monday for failing so far to slow global warming and called for a stronger response to the threat, as countries at the U.N. climate summit in Brazil's Amazon city of Belem entered the second week of negotiations with a goal to resolve their thorniest issues ahead of schedule.

The Pope's message reflected mounting concern about flagging international ambition and rising greenhouse gas emissions a full decade after the 2015 Paris Agreement, a landmark deal at which countries for the first time agreed to limit global warming to well within 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.

Scientists say the Earth is destined now to overshoot that threshold, opening the door to devastating impacts.

"The creation is crying out in floods, droughts, storms and relentless heat," Pope Leo said in a video message played at an event on the sidelines of the summit.

"The Paris Agreement has driven real progress and remains our strongest tool for protecting people and the planet. But we must be honest: it is not the Agreement that is failing, we are failing in our response. What is failing is the political will of some."

Delegates in the steamy riverside city are seeking to reach agreement by Wednesday on a number of difficult topics, including climate finance and goals to reduce emissions, with the rest of the agenda to be resolved by the last scheduled day on Friday, COP30 President Andre Correa do Lago said on Monday.

"It's super difficult, as you all know, because it's lots of documents, and there are still many texts that are open... but all involved thought that it's worth the try," he said.

Most climate summits spill into overtime.

DEVELOPING NATIONS FLEX MORE MUSCLE

Governments representing nearly 200 countries gathered in Belem for the annual conference to hash out a deal they hope can demonstrate global resolve to follow through on the goals of the Paris Agreement, while acknowledging its shortcomings by laying out clear plans for future climate action.

The job will not be easy. Countries are now digging into some of the toughest issues - from fossil fuel use to climate finance - many of which have been left off the formal agenda to ensure the talks keep moving even if one issue gets hung up.

"The time for performative diplomacy has now passed. Now is the time to roll up our sleeves, come together and get the job done," U.N. climate chief Simon Stiell told delegations in a speech opening the second week of the conference.

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is expected to arrive on Wednesday to help rally consensus among parties at the summit ahead of Friday's final scheduled session.

New dynamics in climate diplomacy have seen China, India and other developing nations flex more muscle this year, while the European Union is hobbled by weakening support back home and the once-dominant United States has skipped out altogether.

Danish climate minister Lars Aagaard said the European Union was showing leadership but that it was still early in the negotiations.

MIND THE GAPS

Over the last week negotiators had a chance to air their differences on three key issues: climate finance, unilateral trade measures, and planned emissions cuts that do not go nearly far enough.

"It is a must-have to be able to talk about how we close the gap going forward," Norway's climate minister, Andreas Bjelland Eriksen, told Reuters.

A bloc of developing countries is also seeking a payment schedule to ensure wealthy countries follow through on promises made at last year's COP29 to annually deliver $300 billion in climate finance by 2035. The United States - absent from COP30 - has reneged on past commitments.

PROGRESS IN SOME, BUT NOT ALL, AREAS

Denmark, which produces the majority of its electricity from wind, announced a new binding target to slash its greenhouse gas emissions by at least 82% by 2035, compared with 1990 levels.

"We think this is the highest, most ambitious number of any country in the developed world," Aagaard said.

Denmark's target is substantially more ambitious than the EU's overall commitment to a 66.25%-72.5% emissions cut by 2035.

South Korea, which operates the world's seventh-largest fleet of coal-fired power stations, announced it would stop building new coal plants and phase out nearly two-thirds of existing ones by 2040. The rest would also be phased out, though the timeline was not specified.

However, the transition away from fossil fuels in developing countries remains a vexed issue.

Indonesia's plan to retire 6.7 gigawatts of coal-fired power plant capacity by 2030 is at risk of failure due to stalled disbursal of funding from rich countries.

"If there is no one really willing to jump in to finance the coal phase-out, then we will have to think about whether phase-out is actually the best option," Paul Butarbutar, head of the Indonesia Secretariat of the Just Energy Transition Partnership program, told Reuters.

Just because Trump is now President, doesn't mean the Papacy will not continue to influence Catholic people and politicians the world over, to continue their fear mongering Climate Change agenda. As soon as Trump is gone, it will pick right back up in this nation if we drop our guard or elect politicians likely to favor or succumb to Papal influence. The Pope, Vatican, UN, EU, other international organizations of unelected officials, and their cronies the world over, seek to overthrow the will of the people through their elected representatives. By getting them to cave to them over and above the desire of their citizens. Which is going on from within nations the world over.

Climate does and has always changed. According to Holy Scripture it is only going to get worse as the end approaches. These unelected tyrannical officials will save no one, but only bring about the end all the sooner by forming the final global beast of biblical prophecy when all nations submit to their elitist authority. If you think the climate is bad now, wait until the plagues are poured out upon humanity after the beast forms and enforces its will upon all.

Quoted article below from link above.

QuotePope Leo XIV Calls on the Jesuits to Promote Global Systemic Change Through Solidarity, the Common Good, and Ecological Conversion

On October 24, 2025, Pope Leo XIV addressed the leading Jesuits in Rome and made a direct appeal to them to take the lead in fulfilling their mission at all levels of society—spiritually, politically, and culturally. The Pope exhorted them to become instruments of reconciliation, to heal the wounds that divide the world, to work for the common good through solidarity, and to promote ecological conversion. Pope Leo emphasized that the Jesuits' work must not remain confined within the Catholic Church but must extend into the heart of culture itself.

The Holy See Press Office released the following remarks from Pope Leo XIV's address to the leading Jesuit superiors from around the world on October 24, 2025:

• "The Holy Spirit will confirm you in your vocation and help the members of the Society of Jesus to discern new ways of living out your mission in today's world."

• "Today, I repeat: the Church needs you at the frontiers — whether they be geographical, cultural, intellectual or spiritual."

• "Today, many suffer exclusion, and many wounds remain unhealed across generations and peoples ... we must oppose the globalization of powerlessness with a culture of reconciliation — meeting one another in truth, forgiveness and healing; we must become experts in reconciliation."

• "The Church must help guide these developments ethically, defending human dignity and promoting the common good."

• "True discipleship requires both denunciation of injustice and the proposal of new models rooted in solidarity and the common good."

• "In this regard, your universities, social centers, publications and institutions, like the Jesuit Refugee Service, can be powerful channels to promote systemic change."

• "Caring for our common home, responds to a cry that is both human and divine. As Pope Francis affirmed in Laudato Si' ... ecological conversion is deeply spiritual; it is about renewing our relationship with God, with one another and with creation."

• "Your mission, dear brothers, is to help the world perceive this newness — to sow hope where despair seems dominant, to bring light where darkness reigns."

• "My hope for the Society of Jesus is that you may read the signs of the times with spiritual depth; that you embrace what promotes human dignity and reject what diminishes it; that you be agile, creative, discerning and always in mission."

• "May the Lord lead you to the frontiers of today and beyond, renewing the Church and building a Kingdom of justice, love and truth."

The Jesuit Order was created in the 16th century with the specific purpose of defending and advancing papal supremacy during the Counter-Reformation—Rome's response to the Protestant Reformation. Founded by Ignatius of Loyola in 1540, the Jesuits became the Pope's most loyal soldiers, sworn to absolute obedience to the Pope. Their religious and political mission was to reclaim the territories and hearts that Protestantism had liberated.

According to Revelation 13 and 17, the papal system—symbolized by the beast—will regain the power and influence it once held before receiving the deadly wound in 1798, when the Pope was taken captive and the Church lost its temporal authority. This prophetic "wound," inflicted by the hand of civil power, represents the downfall of papal supremacy at the close of the Dark Ages. Yet prophecy declares that this wound would be healed, meaning that Rome's influence would once again extend across the world.

Therefore, when Pope Leo XIV summons the Jesuit Order to renew their mission of "reconciliation," "solidarity," and "ecological conversion," we must recognize that this is a call for the Society of Jesus to embrace their original purpose: to restore the spiritual dominion of Rome and to lead the world back into unity under papal authority.

"The order of the Jesuits was created ... it was their studied aim to secure wealth and power, to be devoted to the overthrow of Protestantism, and the re-establishment of the papal supremacy" (Great Controversy, p. 234).

"The Jesuits rapidly spread themselves over Europe, and wherever they went, there followed a revival of popery" (Great Controversy, p. 235).

Not going to happen. They are here until the end, as a most crucial element to the papacy and the political end game. I fully suspect some major upsets for them before the end though. God took one of the, if not the worst enemy of the gospel of Jesus Christ away from the table of persecution, and opened his eyes unto becoming one of the greatest of the Apostles. I speak of the Apostle Paul of course. Before the end he will likely do the same to many of the men with the most intricate knowledge of what is really going on. Their understanding of both the details and mindset of the enemies of the gospel, will suit them well for exposing the truth like no others in the crucial last days of the great controversy. I'd be surprised if God did not employ this same method which was so very successful at the beginning of the giving of the gospel of Jesus Christ, at the end when humanity will be facing the greatest threat to personal salvation then world has ever seen.

Act 9:1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. 3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. 8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. 9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink. 10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. 11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, 12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. 13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: 14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: 16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. 17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

The rest is history. Now if anyone chooses to read and understand the New Testament and Covenant of God, they will read more about and of the testimonies of Paul, than any other.

https://adventmessenger.org/catholic-renewal-advances-as-u-s-bishops-prepare-to-consecrate-america-to-jesus-in-2026/

Quoted article below from link above.

QuoteCatholic Renewal Advances as U.S. Bishops Prepare to Consecrate America to Jesus in 2026

Plans by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to consecrate the nation to Jesus during America's 250th anniversary show how quickly Catholic influence is accelerating in national life. It signals a strong push to bring Catholic faith and values back into the center of America's identity during a major historical moment. This effort also lines up with a larger movement in the country where religion and politics—especially evangelical Christian beliefs—are being brought together to shape America's future and national identity. Historically, national consecrations, from a Catholic perspective, are symbolic acts that place a people, the government, and its national identity under religious authority. Within Catholic theology, such acts are intended to bring about social transformation by extending the influence of the Catholic Church into a nation's public life.

On December 31, 2025, National Catholic Reporter published an article titled "Why 2026 Will Be the Year of Leo," in which it made the following observations regarding the spiritual renewal of America:

• "While political and social life in 2026 is expected to be as turbulent as ever, the new year could also present opportunities for profound spiritual renewal in the United States."

"Most notably, the U.S. bishops plan to consecrate the nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus ahead of the 250th anniversary of the American founding."

• "This is a timely and much-needed occasion," said Michael Heinlein, a Catholic author, "for us as a Church to reflect on the source of our unity and holiness; to invite the larger society to encounter Christ's heart; and for all of us to discover therein the answer to all of our longings."

• "Heinlein added that he hopes parishes and dioceses equip the faithful with resources and devotions and offer occasions to gather in prayer, seizing this opportunity and giving it a chance to bear much fruit throughout America."

Through this consecration, Catholic leaders are putting forward the idea that America's moral problems can be fixed by a nationwide religious revival—and that national faithfulness is the key to restoring God's favor and blessings on the country. Yet Bible prophecy warns that such movements do not remain purely religious. God's word foretells of a time when church and state will unite under the guise of unity, spiritual renewal, and the common good.

Revelation 13:15 describes a power that will influence and persuade the nations of the earth to follow its lead, while Daniel 7:25 warns of a system that seeks to "think to change times and laws." When religious revival is promoted, affirmed, and endorsed at the level of the state, it ultimately culminates in false worship and global conformity—confirming, as God's Word predicts, that the final conflict will be over worship and obedience to God's law.

At the same time, this Catholic consecration service closely aligns with the aims of Evangelical Christian nationalism, which likewise contends that America's strength, unity, and future depend on a return to Christianity in public life. Evangelical leaders are increasingly calling for the restoration of prayer, biblical values, and a distinctly Christian identity within government, law, education, and culture. Though Catholics and Evangelicals remain divided on doctrine, they now share a common narrative: that America has drifted from its so-called "Christian" foundation and must be spiritually reclaimed in order to survive.

Catholicism is experiencing a clear resurgence, with its doctrinal and political influence steadily rising in American public life. Rome is increasingly positioning itself as the global moral authority, shaping political discourse on virtually every major issue—including labor, environmental policy, the common good, and national identity. This renewed visibility is prophetic in nature and reflects a strategic, deliberate effort by Catholic leadership to reassert its influence in America and throughout the world:

"The Roman Church is far-reaching in her plans and modes of operation. She is employing every device to extend her influence and increase her power in preparation for a fierce and determined conflict to regain control of the world, to re-establish persecution, and to undo all that Protestantism has done" (Great Controversy, p. 565).

"She is silently growing into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage ground, and this is already being given her" (Great Controversy, p. 581).

QuotePope Leo XIV Reaffirms Vatican II as the Foundation for Global Religious Unity

On January 7, 2026, Pope Leo XIV addressed pilgrims during a General Audience at the Vatican, using the occasion to reflect on the legacy and ongoing relevance of the Second Vatican Council. In his remarks, the pontiff emphasized a vision for the Roman Catholic Church that prioritizes ecumenism, interreligious dialogue, and fraternity as the primary means of engaging the modern world.

According to the Pope's statements, the Church's mission today must be focused more around the pursuit of unity—among Christian denominations, non-Christian religions, and even political and secular institutions. This approach, he challenged, must be grounded in what he described as the "rich traditions" of the Catholic Church, which are presented as a unifying foundation for addressing contemporary global challenges.

The address reaffirmed the mission first articulated at Vatican Council II, revealing that Rome continues to view ecumenical cooperation as the only pathway for advancing peace and unity on the world stage. Revelation 13 and 17 have long taught that a final global religious authority would succeed in uniting the peoples and nations of the world. Prophecy indicates that this emerging unity will not be grounded in biblical truth, but rather will be shaped by a broad, collective opposition to God's law and to His redemptive work.

According to the Holy See Press Office, Pope Leo expressed the following:

• "Vatican Council II rediscovered the face of God ... it helped us to open up to the world and to embrace the changes and challenges of the modern age in dialogue and co-responsibility, as a Church that wishes to open her arms to humanity, to echo the hopes and anxieties of peoples, and to collaborate in building a more just and fraternal society."

• "Thanks to Vatican Council II, the Church has something to say, a message to give, a communication to make, striving to seek the truth by way of ecumenism, interreligious dialogue and dialogue with people of good will."

• "As we approach the documents of Vatican Council II and rediscover their prophetic and contemporary relevance, we welcome the rich tradition of the life of the Church and, at the same time, we question ourselves about the present and renew our joy in running towards the world to bring it the Gospel of the kingdom of God, a kingdom of love, justice and peace."

These developments reveal that the prophetic themes of Revelation 13, 17, and 18 are rapidly taking shape before our eyes—a worldwide movement toward religious, political, and social unity increasingly founded upon Catholic tradition and authority. As Scripture foretold, the nations are being drawn together to "worship the beast" (Revelation 13:4), embracing a system that elevates human tradition and a false unity above the clear teachings of God.

Heaven's response is clear and urgent: the everlasting gospel of Revelation 14 must be proclaimed with renewed boldness and clarity, calling all people to fear God, give Him glory, worship the Creator, and come out of Babylon before mercy's door closes. This is the moment for God's remnant to lift up the Three Angels' Messages without compromise, pointing the world to Christ, His righteousness, and His immutable law as the only sure refuge in the closing scenes of earth's history.

As the Roman Pontifex Maximus, it is only fitting that the Pope and Vatican are seeking a repeat of the histories which united all religions and politics under the direct authority of the Roman Emperors who were also the Roman Pontifex Maximus. The realization of this goal being accomplished by the first professed "Christian" Roman Emperor and Pontifex Maximus Constantine.

Emphasis in the following quotes is mine.

QuoteWhile this effort was being made on the side of philosophy to unite all religions, there was at the same time a like effort on the side of politics. It was the ambition of Elagabalus (A.D. 218-222) to make the worship of the sun supersede all other worship in Rome. It is further related of him that a more ambitious scheme even than this was in the emperor's mind; which was nothing less than the blending of all religions into one, of which "the sun was to be the central object of adoration." (Milman "History of Christianity"  book 2, chap. 8, par. 22.)

It was the Roman Imperial plan on several occasions, to unite all religions of the Empire into one religion--sun-worship: "The Jewish, the Samaritan, even the Christian, were to be fused and recast into one great system, of which the sun was to be the central object of adoration." (Henry Hart Milman, The History of Christianity, bk. 2, chap. 8 (Vol. II, p. 175). [Dr. Milman (1791-1868) was an important historian of England and dean of St. Paul's Cathedral in London])

"Constantine labored at this time untiringly to unite the worshipers of the old and the new into one religion. All his laws and contrivances are aimed at promoting this amalgamation of religions. He would by all lawful and peaceable means melt together a purified heathenism and a moderated Christianity . . . Of all his blending and melting together of Christianity and heathenism, none is more easy to see through than this making of his Sunday law: The Christians worshiped their Christ, the heathen their Sun-god . . . [so they should now be combined." (H.G. Heggtveit, "illustreret Kirkehistorie," 1895, p. 202)

"Modern Christians who talk of keeping Sunday as a 'holy' day, as in the still extant 'Blue Laws,' of colonial America, should know that as a 'holy' day of rest and cessation from labor and amusements Sunday was unknown to Jesus . . . It formed no tenet [teaching] of the primitive Church and became 'sacred' only in the course of time. Outside the Church its observance was legalized for the Roman Empire through a series of decrees starting with the famous one of Constantine in 321, an edict due to his political and social ideas." (W, W. Hyde, "Paganism to Christianity in the Roman Empire," 1946, p. 257)

Those who forget or neglect the darker portions of recorded history behind us, are doomed to repeat the mistakes thereof.

QuotePope Leo Issues Five-Word Message to the US

Pope Leo XIV, the first American pontiff, sent a message to his homeland on Monday.

A reporter from NewsNation shook the pontiff's hand as he walked past a cordoned-off press pack at the Vatican, and asked: "Holy Father! Father―any message for the United States?"

The pope appeared to laugh and nod as turned back to reply: "Many. May God bless you all."

Newsweek has reached out by email to the Vatican seeking clarification on the details of the "many" messages the pope has for the U.S.

Why It Matters

The pope's reply will likely thrill U.S. Catholics, who numbered around 53 million adults in 2024, according to the Pew Research Center.

However, the pope's cryptic hint that he has more to say to the U.S. could suggest he is planning to comment on the current administration's various policies.

Since he was chosen to serve as pope, there has been much speculation about the relationship he will share with President Donald Trump, who had been criticized by the pontiff's predecessor Pope Francis over his hardline stance on immigration.

What To Know

The pope, 69, is a Chicago native who was born Robert Prevost and became pope just days ago on May 8.

He addressed the crowds in St. Peter's Square on Sunday, then met with members of the media at the Vatican on Monday, which is where he made his comments to the American journalist.

On Sunday, he blessed the faithful and called for peace in Gaza and Ukraine.

Speaking to the world's press in the Vatican's Paul VI audience hall the following day, the pope called for the release of imprisoned journalists, expressing solidarity with those jailed "for seeking and reporting the truth." He added that their suffering "challenges the conscience of nations and the international community."

He also said: "The way we communicate is of fundamental importance: we must say 'no' to the war of words and images; we must reject the paradigm of war.

"Let us disarm communication of all prejudice and resentment, fanaticism and even hatred; let us free it from aggression. We do not need loud, forceful communication, but rather communication that is capable of listening and of gathering the voices of the weak who have no voice."

What People Are Saying

John Prevost, the pope's brother, has said the new pontiff will not be afraid to speak his mind, and is "not happy with what's going on with immigration" in the U.S. "How far he'll go with it is only one's guess, but he won't just sit back. I don't think he'll be the silent one," he told The New York Times. He added that the pope will not "stay quiet for too long if he has something to say."

What Happens Next

As Pope Leo XIV settles into his new role, the early days of his papacy will indicate what kind of pontiff he plans to be.

Lucky for us, a lot of Catholics do not agree with the Pope regarding immigration, otherwise there would be 53 million Americans backing up his disapproval of tougher immigration laws and enforcement. Nevertheless, there are no doubt many millions who will and already are backing up papal policy over and above our present governments policies already. Many of whom are federal, state, and or local politicians. Who cannot serve two masters while they are in such disagreement. Nor is the papacy inactive concerning the establishment of her social justice teachings and agendas. There is no doubt that they are actively involved in organizing and effecting some of the opposition we see taking place today. Just as they have been actively involved in organizing, effecting, and facilitating mass migrations into our and other countries for decades now as well.

And what does "no war of words or images" and "disarming communication" mean, but quite frankly censorship. Who will determine which words, images, or communications will be censored? It will be those of whichever political party has control. In other words, goodbye to freedom of speech. As churches and states or governments continue to increasingly unite, then religious speech or views will end up being censored  as well. Not good.

QuoteFox News Flirts with the Idea of Establishing a Catholic Monarchy in America

The Greg Gutfeld Show, a nationally aired Fox News program known for its blend of conservative commentary, political discussion, and comedy, featured a revealing exchange on its January 12, 2026, broadcast. During the program, guest Terry Schappert remarked, "I would like to make the United States a Catholic monarchy. It's not going to happen, I get it—but we can install Marco as the Catholic monarch of Cuba." Host Greg Gutfeld responded approvingly, "That's a great experiment." When another panelist was asked for his opinion, he replied, "Sure, why not? We can try it," prompting laughter from the panel and the audience.

https://adventmessenger.org/fox-news-flirts-with-the-idea-of-establishing-a-catholic-monarchy-in-america/

Although the exchange was presented with laughter, the comments reflect a growing comfort in mainstream media with openly discussing ideas about a resurgence of medieval Catholic dominance, when monarchs ruled under the influence and authority of the Pope. Comedy is being used as a tool to make the idea of religious power exerting control over political authority seem less serious and less threatening. By presenting these concepts through humor, public resistance is reduced, and the union of church and state becomes more acceptable and less alarming.

What is no laughing matter is the fact that Papal supremacy is being actively promoted here in the United States.According to prophecy, this nation will form an image of the beast—a system that resembles the structure and authority of a Roman Catholic–style religious monarchy. Papal influence is advancing not only through official decrees or Vatican diplomacy but also through the media, entertainment, political commentary, and even comedy. These platforms help normalize ideas that once would have been openly rejected and are preparing the public for a renewed union of church and state.

What a disturbing comment to make, as a supposed conservative voice of common sense and logic for the right. Joking or not, it shows total disdain for our Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and obvious intent of our founding fathers.

QuotePope Leo Presents the Papacy as the Father Figure that Guides Humanity Towards Global Unity

On January 9, 2026, Pope Leo XIV addressed the ambassadors of 184 countries that maintain official diplomatic relations with the Vatican. His message clearly illustrated how the modern Papacy continues to pursue the ancient Vatican strategy of bringing the world into a visible and structural unity under the moral and spiritual leadership of Rome.

Pope Leo XIV's address to the world's ambassadors was a theological and prophetic statement describing his intent to heal divisions, reclaim spiritual authority, and rally the nations around a single body. According to prophecy, such visible unity must arise before Christ's return, for it sets the stage for the final conflict between human authority and divine law, between the counterfeit unity of Babylon and the true people of God who "keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus" (Revelation 14:12).

The Vatican Press Office published the Pope's message, and some excerpts are shared below.

• "I am pleased, therefore, to welcome you this morning, and I am grateful for your generous participation."

• "This is a tangible sign of good and fruitful bilateral relations. Through each of you, dear Ambassadors, I wish to extend my good wishes to your countries, and to share a reflection on our times, which are so troubled by a growing number of tensions and conflicts."

• "This past year saw many significant events, beginning with those directly affecting the life of the Church, which experienced a profound Jubilee, and saw the return to the Father's house of my venerable predecessor, Pope Francis. The whole world gathered around his coffin on the day of his funeral, and sensed the loss of a father who had guided the People of God with immense pastoral charity."

• "I am also grateful for the visits that I received from the senior Government officials at the beginning of my Pontificate and for the exquisite hospitality shown to me."

• "During the past year, having accepted the invitation given to Pope Francis, I had the joy of visiting Türkiye and Lebanon. I am grateful to the Authorities of both countries for their welcome.  In İznik, Türkiye, together with the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople and representatives of other Christian denominations, I commemorated the 1700th anniversary of the first Ecumenical Council.  This was an important opportunity for renewing our commitment to the journey towards the full visible unity of all Christians."

• "In Lebanon, I met a people who, despite their difficulties, are full of faith and enthusiasm. There, I sensed the hope of young people who aspire to build a more just and cohesive society, and to strengthen the bond of cultures and religions that makes the Land of the Cedars unique in the world."

When the Pope welcomed the world's ambassadors and thanked them for being present, he was openly acknowledging the Vatican as the central meeting place for global governments. This affirms that the Holy See sees its role not merely as a religious voice but as the primary influence among world leaders—helping shape how the international community thinks and acts. From a prophetic standpoint, this shows how Revelation 17 is gradually coming to life. In that chapter, the "woman" represents a church, and the "many waters" mean people from all over the world—different nations, cultures, and languages. What we are seeing today is Rome extending its influence far beyond religion alone, reaching into politics and global diplomacy.

Leo XIV's statement that the world had "gathered around the coffin" of Pope Francis, mourning "the loss of a father who had guided the People of God with immense pastoral charity," positions the Papacy as the paternal figure for humanity. His emphasis on the idea that "the whole world" united around the death of Pope Francis reinforces the idea that the Pope is the father of the nations. From a prophetic perspective, this agrees with Revelation 13:3, which states that "all the world wondered after the beast." It illustrates how reverence and emotional affection for the Papal office are today crossing denominational, cultural, and political lines—laying the groundwork for the kind of universal homage, or "worship," that prophecy warns will one day be fully realized.

Pope Leo XIV's comments about visiting Turkey and Lebanon and about commemorating the "1700th anniversary of the first Ecumenical Council held in Nicaea" are especially significant from a prophetic perspective. The Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325 marked a major turning point in Christian history, when the church aligned itself with Emperor Constantine's imperial power. This alliance blended Christianity with pagan influences and laid the foundation for the first formal union of church and state. By invoking this Nicaean anniversary and presenting it as the model for a "journey toward the full visible unity of all Christians," Leo XIV is projecting a renewed vision of a reunited Christendom—one that follows Constantine's model. This emphasis on "visible unity" is a necessary precursor to the final union of church and state foretold in Revelation 13, where religious and civil authorities act together to enforce the mark of the beast.

Before the second coming of Christ, prophecy reveals that there will be a counterfeit unity—a global alliance that brings together religions and governments in the name of peace, fraternity, and political and religious healing. Rome's diplomatic and ecumenical initiatives are driving this movement, positioning the papacy as the spiritual leader for global cooperation. By uniting nations, courting world leaders, and calling Christians to visible unity, Pope Leo XIV is fulfilling the very predictions Ellen G. White described:

"The line of distinction between professed Christians and the ungodly is now hardly distinguishable. Church-members love what the world loves, and are ready to join with them; and Satan determines to unite them in one body, and thus strengthen his cause by sweeping all into the ranks of Spiritualism. Papists, who boast of miracles as a certain sign of the true church, will be readily deceived by this wonder-working power; and Protestants, having cast away the shield of truth, will also bedeluded. Papists, Protestants, and worldlings will alike accept the form of godliness without the power, and they will see in this union a grand movement for the conversion of the world, and the ushering in of the long-expected millennium" (Great Controversy, p. 588).

QuotePresident Trump Welcomes Archbishop Coakley, President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, to the White House

On January 12, 2026, Archbishop Paul S. Coakley, president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), met privately with President Donald J. Trump at the White House. The meeting was closed to the press, and no official details were released regarding the substance of the discussion. The USCCB—the national governing body of Catholic bishops in the United States that provides guidance to American Catholics and engages policymakers on public issues—later acknowledged the meeting in a brief statement, releasing the following:

https://x.com/USCCB/status/2011172537443459411?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2011172537443459411%7Ctwgr%5E58be30baf0a750beaf8c2dbca6472bb008ebbe0f%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fadventmessenger.org%2Fpresident-trump-welcomes-archbishop-coakley-president-of-the-united-states-conference-of-catholic-bishops-to-the-white-house%2F

• "Archbishop Coakley, had the opportunity for introductory meetings with President Trump, Vice President Vance, and other Administration officials, in which they discussed areas of mutual concern, as well as areas for further dialogue. Archbishop Coakley is grateful for the engagement and looks forward to ongoing discussions."

When Archbishop Paul Coakley met with Donald Trump, Vice President Vance, and other White House officials to talk about shared concerns and future cooperation, it may have seemed like a normal government matter. However, history shows that moments like this deserve careful attention. More than 1,600 years ago, Constantine the Great faced a divided and crisis-plagued Roman Empire. Instead of keeping politics out of religion, he aligned himself with the church and used it to help restore order and national unity to the empire. That decision gave the government moral legitimacy and the church political power, but it also eliminated the line between church and state, paving the way for the establishment of Sunday laws.

The current political situation feels all too familiar. When political leaders seek the support of powerful religious institutions, and when church leaders gain access to and influence within the government, both sides appear to benefit, but it is the public that ultimately pays the price when freedom and conscience are compromised. History teaches us that what begins as "dialogue" and a search for "common ground" with Rome gradually transforms into political favoritism and religious influence on public policy. That is why this meeting between the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the White House serve as an important reminder of why the separation of church and state has always been a fundamental safeguard of religious liberty.

"When the leading churches of the United States, uniting upon such points of doctrine as are held by them in common, shall influence the State to enforce their decrees and to sustain their institutions, then Protestant America will have formed an image of the Roman hierarchy, and the infliction of civil penalties upon dissenters will inevitably result." (Great Controversy, p. 445).

Quoted article below from link above. Emphasis is mine.

QuoteThe first pope from the US is pressing Trump — and getting little in return

Pope Leo XIV has criticized the administration's treatment of migrants, its antipathy toward Europe and the use of what he characterized as 'diplomacy based on force.'

The White House's top ranks are filled with Catholics, and President Donald Trump has courted the Catholic vote. But repeated, pointed criticisms from the first American to lead the Catholic Church have done little to move the administration on policy.

In recent months, Pope Leo XIV has criticized the administration's treatment of migrants, its antipathy toward Europe and global institutions like the United Nations and the use of what he characterized as "diplomacy based on force" in the wake of the U.S.'s capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.

Yet even as the Republican Party continues to hew closely to the Christian tradition — and the president himself promises to eradicate anti-Christian bias — his administration has appeared less responsive than ever to moral authority at odds with his agenda. The White House has typically responded to the pope's criticisms with silence — but also, at times, open rebuke — and no changes in policy.

When Leo suggested last fall that people who support the "inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States" may not be "pro-life," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, herself Catholic, said she "would reject there was inhumane treatment of illegal immigrants in the United States under this administration" and that the Trump administration "is trying to enforce our nation's laws in the most humane way possible." Vice President JD Vance has also raised doubts about the Catholic bishops' humanitarian concerns over migrants, questioning whether their outrage is about "their bottom line."

This approach to the Vatican represents a sharp departure from that of past presidents, who responded to sometimes stark and insurmountable policy impasses with a scramble to publicly show respect.

"The White House doesn't care what France thinks. They don't care what Europe thinks," said the Rev. Tom Reese, a Jesuit and longtime Vatican analyst. "Why should they care what the pope thinks?"

Trump, who used to be Presbyterian but is now nondenominational, frequently speaks warmly about Catholics — and their growing support for him. He won 59 percent of the Catholic vote in 2024, up from 50 percent in 2016. Former President Joe Biden, the second Catholic president, won the voting bloc by 52 percent in 2020, according to CNN exit polling. White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers pointed to Trump's support from Catholics in 2024 when asked about the criticism from Leo in recent months.

"In just ten short months, the President has delivered unprecedented victories for Catholic Americans, and he will continue to protect and expand our sacred right to religious freedom," she said.

Trump, asked about the pope's criticisms of his immigration agenda in an interview with POLITICO last month, said he hadn't seen "any statements from the pope" but that "I'm sure he's a lovely man." He also noted that he has met with the pope's brother Louis, who lives in Florida, describing him as "serious MAGA."

The two most important Americans in geopolitics have yet to meet, but the administration has maintained an open line of communication with Catholic leaders. Vance, a recent Catholic convert, was one of the last people to meet with Pope Francis before he died last spring, with Trump attending Francis's funeral in St. Peter's Square in Vatican City shortly after. More recently, Archbishop Paul Coakley, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, on Monday met with Trump in the Oval Office, a visit that was also attended by Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is also Catholic. Rubio last week spoke with Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Parolin about the U.S. actions in Venezuela.

Vatican observers acknowledge that Leo's criticisms of U.S. policy carry more weight than Francis's did simply because he is the first American pope, holding dual citizenship in the U.S. and Peru. He understands American politics and can't be dismissed as the anti-American Argentinian leftist like Francis was, they argue. Leo even offered measured support last fall for the Chicago archdiocese's plan to honor Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) with a "lifetime achievement award" for his work on immigration policy, despite his past support for abortion rights.

"Unlike with Francis, no one in the U.S. can say he doesn't understand America," said the Rev. James Martin, a priest who met with Leo in September. "It also makes it harder for bishops to set aside what he said, which sometimes was the case under Francis. Like, 'Well, he's from Argentina. He doesn't understand the United States.' You can't say that about someone who's born in Chicago."

While it's commonplace for popes to speak about Catholic values like helping low-income people and migrants, endorse multilateralism and denounce war, Vatican observers say Leo has been unique in the specificity with which he has done all three.

Leo has, for instance, called on senior clergy to speak out about protecting migrants, leading to bishops around the country protesting Immigration and Customs Enforcement actions.
While Leo has long been vocal about supporting vulnerable migrants, an issue he was passionate about before he was elevated to the leader of the Catholic Church, his statements have particularly riled the president's Catholic supporters.

MAGA Catholics were enthusiastic about the church turning a page from Francis, who they have long derided as too progressive. But now, many are finding Leo to be too much in his predecessor's mold.

"Leo has been critical of Trump on immigration, but he's just wrong.
He has no clue what's going on in America," said a person close to the White House, who is Catholic, granted anonymity to share a candid assessment of the pope. "I think Americans have been abused with illegal immigration. And frankly, I think the illegal immigrants have been abused with the illegal immigrant situation. This is not a good situation for anyone."

Months before becoming pope, a social media account under Leo's given name shared opinion articles that called out Vance's stance on migration and actions the administration had taken so far on deportations. POLITICO has not been able to independently confirm the authenticity of the account.

Ramesh Ponnuru, a prominent conservative Catholic and senior fellow at the right-leaning American Enterprise Institute think tank, said the Trump administration has been uniquely willing to throw punches at the church, citing Vance's comments on the bishops' bottom line.

"I don't think the administration is listening to critics of any stripe on [immigration], whether it's from the Catholic Church, or anywhere else," Ponnuru said.

Leo hasn't backed away from voicing concerns about Trump's foreign policy actions, either, as he endorses an explicitly globalist worldview and strong support for Ukraine. As part of his annual address to the Vatican this month, he condemned global violence, without calling out any leaders specifically, saying "War is back in vogue and a zeal for war is spreading ... this gravely threatens the rule of law, which is the foundation of all peaceful civil coexistence."

Apparently, if it were up to the present Pope, all things would be continuing now as they were under the last administration. The Vatican seems to have no concern for foreign invasions of this and other countries, by people and supporters from within, that declare war against their host nations laws unto reconstructing them from within. Reconstructing them of course in the globalist fashion or image which the Pope and his cohorts or minions continue to establish through asymmetrical political warfare. Which is a kind of warfare the Pope and Vatican apparently have no problem executing upon and or against the will of the peoples of many or any nation.

The big question is, how long will an ever increasing number of Roman Catholics running this nation, continue to defy the wishes of Pope's. They are now entrenched within our government, and if or when they begin to capitulate, the Vaticans agenda of world domination will in fact be complete. Having control of the most powerful nation on earth, as they did when Constantine mandated their religion above all others. This is a matter of biblical prophecy, and will happen when God decides it is time for this world to end.

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

QuotePope evaluating Trump's invitation to join Board of Peace, Vatican's secretary of state says

Pope Leo XIV is currently evaluating an invitation by U.S. President Donald Trump to join his "Board of Peace," an international body chaired by the president to oversee the governance and reconstruction of Gaza, the Vatican secretary of state said.

Speaking with journalists after an event at the Franciscan-run Pontifical University Antonianum in Rome Jan. 21, Cardinal Pietro Parolin confirmed that Vatican City State was among the countries that received an invitation to join the board.

"I believe I read that Italy is also considering whether or not to join," Cardinal Parolin said, according to Avvenire, the newspaper of the Italian bishops' conference. "We too have received this invitation: the pope has received the invitation, and we are considering what to do; we are looking into it."

The board, which was formally announced by the White House Jan. 16, will serve as an oversight mechanism for the second phase of the Trump administration's "Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict."

"The Board of Peace will play an essential role in fulfilling all 20 points of the President's plan, providing strategic oversight, mobilizing international resources, and ensuring accountability as Gaza transitions from conflict to peace and development," the White House said in a statement.

While joining the board would lead to a three-year term, The New York Times reported that Trump is offering countries a permanent seat if they pay $1 billion.

As of now, Norway, which has been at odds with Trump over his desire to acquire Greenland, and France have declined the invitation to join. France's snub prompted Trump to threaten levying 200% tariffs on French wine if French President Emmanuel Macron refused to join.

Cardinal Parolin said the invitation to join the board "requires some time to answer" and that the request "will not be to participate financially" because "we are not in a position to do so."

The Holy See, "obviously, finds itself in a different situation than other countries, so there will be a different consideration," the cardinal said.

The Vatican secretary of state also commented on tensions between the U.S. and Europe as Trump continued his push for Greenland during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The "important thing is to respect international law," he said. The ongoing tension with Europe is "unhealthy; the international situation is serious. It's important to eliminate tensions and discuss controversial issues without creating tension."

The Vatican demanded and has now received recognition as a country or nation of this world. Yet as such, it also demands special status and or treatment in that it is of course different from all the rest. Which it is. As the only religion of this world, that is also acknowledged as a country or nation itself. Giving it a seat of course, on the international global political stage, influence, and if it can help it, effect.

Now it wants to keep its global political power and influence, without paying up to do so of course. Since it is so very special. Never mind that this institution gets countless billions of dollars from this and other countries the world over every year. With or without the consent of the peoples of these nations. It simply cannot contribute financially like all the rest. So why should it even be offered a seat at the table?

Perhaps it would accept receiving one billion dollars less per year from our nation, while it is on this board of peace. We certainly could use more relief from the huge amount of debt our government has put all of us in, by deciding to police, feed, clothe, and fight wars for other peoples and nations the world over.

Quoted article below from link above.

QuotePope Leo XIV to Ecumenical Leaders: "We Are One, Let's Make It Visible"

Ecumenism is indeed fulfilling prophecy—but not the prophecy God calls His people to advance or embrace. The world is being drawn into a single religious and political body, as revealed by Scripture: "And all the world wondered after the beast" (Revelation 13:3). This is not a revival of godliness; it is universal apostasy—a global movement that, under the appearance of unity, peace, and love, is leading people away from Bible truth and into disobedience to God's law.

On Sunday, January 25, 2026, Pope Leo XIV marked the 59th Week of Prayer for Christian Unity with members of an ecumenical delegation. In his address, the pope urged Christians to press forward in the ecumenical mission toward full, visible unity. The Holy See Press Office published the following regarding Pope Leo's remarks:

• "My dear friends, every year the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity invites us to renew our commitment to this great mission, bearing in mind that the divisions among us—while they do not prevent the light of Christ from shining—nonetheless make the face which must reflect it to the world less radiant."

• "We are one! We already are! Let us recognize it, experience it, and make it visible!"

• "My dear predecessor, Pope Francis, remarked that the synodal journey of the Catholic Church is and must be ecumenical."

• "I believe this is a path for growing together in mutual knowledge of our respective synodal structures and traditions."

• "As we look toward the 2,000th anniversary of the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus in 2033, let us commit ourselves to further developing ecumenical synodal practices and to sharing with one another who we are, what we do, and what we teach."

• "We pray that the seeds of the Gospel may continue to bear fruit on this continent in unity, justice, and holiness, for the benefit of peace among the peoples and nations of the whole world."

Prophecy identifies the unification of the churches into a single religious system, followed by their alliance with civil power, as the defining characteristic of the final crisis. Revelation 13 portrays the restoration of a united religious authority that recovers global influence after the healing of the deadly wound. Pope Leo's recent calls for Christian unity fit squarely within this prophetic framework, pointing to the restoration of Rome's combined spiritual and temporal authority.

Central to this message is the repeated call to make unity visible. Statements such as "We already are one" implicitly describe how the Protestant Reformation is over and that separation from Rome is no longer necessary. The Pope is basically inviting all the churches to come back home to Rome. His statements reveal a deliberate movement toward religious consolidation on a global scale under papal leadership.

"Under one head—the papal power—the people will unite to oppose God in the person of His witnesses. This union is cemented by the great apostate. While he seeks to unite his agents in warring against the truth, he will work to divide and scatter its advocates" (Testimonies, Vol. 7, p. 182).

No sir, literal Israel and Jerusalem are no longer the focus of biblical prophecy in this New Covenant age. The Kingdom of God was taken away from them, and given to a nation producing the fruits thereof. Biblical prophecy is now about authentic and or apostate spiritual Israel and or Jerusalem, the professed Church of Christ.

Mat 21:33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. 35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. 37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? 41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. 42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. 45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

Only those who at least claim to be of God, can be accused of spiritual adultery or whoredoms. In rejecting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Jews have rejected their God altogether. They can't even qualify as being spiritually adulterous or guilty of whoredoms against God anymore, as they are none of His. Unless they repent as a people, and accept their and our Messiah.

Rom 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? 13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. 15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? 16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 9 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. 24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

Those who have rejected Jesus Christ as the Savior can neither be prophetically referred to as either a chaste virgin as in the pure Church of Christ, or and adulterous woman guilty of whoredoms as in an apostate Christ professing church.

So be it. Continue to look toward the Jews who have not accepted Christ Jesus as Lord and Jerusalem as the focus of final events, from whose cup of abominations all the nations and leaders shall drink. Ignore Babylon as you wish.

I and a great many others will focus upon that institution which has ever combined its forces with the powers that be of this world, unto government mandated religion upon all, unto persecution especially of a great many authentic Bible believing Christians throughout history, and all in the name and professed faith in our Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Ever usurping His power and authority for themselves, while claiming to be His personal representatives to all humanity at the same time.

Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

So Israel and Jerusalem are now BAYLON THE GREAT? And the Jews I suppose have been persecuting authentic Christians all throughout history, while at the same time being persecuted in so very many places throughout history as well? And Israel is presently and has been trying to unite all the kings and nations of this earth under her authority, during all of this as well? No sir, Israel today is just another nation that will join in with Babylon's vision of a united earth in rebellion against God, as she is helpless to prevent such having continued to reject her promised Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Babylon is God's chosen instrument to bring the kings and nations of the earth unto the madness of rejecting their God universally.

Jer 51:1 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind; 2 And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about. 3 Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host. 4 Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets. 5 For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel. 6 Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence. 7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad. 8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed. 9 We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies. 10 The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. 20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. 21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. 22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; 23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth

No sir, Israel and or Jerusalem are not that great city which rules over the kings of this earth. They were never Babylon, and never will be. Though many of them have and will choose to be of and or stay in Babylon, throughout history. Nevertheless, the Israel of God in Christ Jesus our Lord has never done such a thing. AMEN!

Gal 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. 15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. 16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

QuotePope Leo Calls for Concrete Action Toward One Human Family to Heal Global Divisions

On February 4, 2026, Pope Leo XIV celebrated the World Day of Human Fraternity with a global appeal for all people to unite as one family. Presented as a remedy for a divided world, the message called for shared values and cooperation to "heal" what he described as deep-seated divisions. This language reflects the prophetic vision of a world coming together under a common banner in the last days.

The Vatican Press Office published the following remarks made by the Pope:

• "With great joy and a heart filled with hope, I address you for the first time on the occasion of the World Day of Human Fraternity and the 7th anniversary of the signing of the Document on Human Fraternity by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam Ahmad Al-Tayyeb."

• "On this occasion, you celebrate what is most precious and universal in our humanity: our fraternity, that unbreakable bond which unites every human being, created in the image of God. Today, the need for this fraternity is not a distant ideal but an urgent necessity."

• "At a time when the dream of building peace together is often dismissed as an outdated utopia, we must proclaim with conviction that human fraternity is a lived reality, stronger than all conflicts, differences and tensions."

• "Words are not enough. Our deepest convictions require constant cultivation through tangible effort ... As brothers and sisters, we are all called to move beyond the periphery and converge in a greater sense of mutual belonging."

• "By choosing the demanding path of solidarity over the easy path of indifference, they have demonstrated that even the most deep-seated divisions can be healed through concrete action. Their work bears witness to the conviction that the light of fraternity can prevail over the darkness of fratricide."

• "Let us continue to work together so that the dynamic of fraternal love may become the common path of all, and that the other may no longer be seen as a stranger or a threat, but recognized as a brother or a sister."

The book of Revelation warns that a time is coming when the world will be drawn into a single global system—uniting political power, religious authority, economic control, and military force. Prophecy portrays a dominant religious power, identified as the first beast, receiving the allegiance of the world, while a second power compels worship and enforces conformity. This authority extends to every nation, language, and people, making participation unavoidable. Identified in Scripture as Babylon the Great and the Mother of Harlots, this unity will not be righteous or led by Christ; it will be deceptive and opposed to the commandments of God.

"And his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." Revelation 13:3.

"And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him." Revelation 13:8.

"And power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." Revelation 13:7.

"These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." Revelation 17:13.

"The great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication." Revelation 17:1-2

"For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her." Revelation 18:3.

In Revelation 14:6–12, God issues a final, loving call for separation and loyalty that stands in direct contrast to the world's counterfeit unity. It is a clear summons to come out of false systems of worship and deception—identified as Babylon—and to return to obedience. Scripture identifies the faithful as those who "keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus" (Revelation 14:12), showing that true worship is inseparable from obedience to God's law. In a world united in error, Revelation 14 reveals that God's remnant stands apart, not in rebellion, but in loving allegiance to the Creator, choosing faithfulness over conformity to human tradition.

Quoted article below from link above.

QuoteNo Peace Without the Prince of Peace

By Pastor Aubrey Duncan

President Donald Trump recently announced the formation of his Board of Peace. But what is that anyway, and whom does it serve? In order to answer those questions and get a better understanding of Trump's bold initiative, let's recognize some facts. The United Nations Security Council approved the establishment of the Board of Peace under Resolution 2803 on November 17, 2025. Its formal endorsement was limited to a specific role in Gaza as a "transitional administration" to oversee the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip through the end of 2027.

But Trump and his board think they have a better idea, even better than Creator God. Their goal is extremely ambitious, like acting as a peacekeeper for the planet. On January 22, 2026, during a ceremony at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Donald Trump formally and unilaterally ratified the Board of Peace's charter as an "official international organization." The charter offers "permanent membership" for a $1 billion contribution; otherwise, member terms are limited to three years. An overwhelming majority of the board's members are regimes ruled by authoritarians who need to protect their positions from possible opposition. Trump's action effectively sets up a conflict between the United Nations and his Board of Peace. This brings us to the apocalyptic ramifications of Trump's Board of Peace.

The book of Revelation, chapter 13, foretells of a final worldwide amalgamation of religious, political, and economic powers in which the church rules the state (Revelation 17:1-6). One notable actor that has been asked to join Donald Trump's Board of Peace but has not yet decided is the Papacy. The Jesuit publication, America, reports, "We have also received this invitation, and the pope has seen it, and we are deciding what to do," the Vatican's secretary of state, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, told journalists on Wednesday (Jan. 21). "I think it's a matter that needs some time to be considered in order to give an answer," he added, saying there were concerns for the respect of the international rule of law.

Whether the world's longest-lasting religious/political behemoth 'officially' joins Trump's Board of Peace or not, one can be sure that the Vatican will play no small role in its functioning, just as it has been playing in the United Nations.

As one peruses the global political, economic, and religious landscape, it can reasonably be concluded that the world is undoubtedly living through that period of earth's history not only prophesied by Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, but also by other prophets, such as Daniel and John.

When asked by His disciples concerning the signs of the end of the world and His second coming, Jesus responded, "Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places ... And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" (Matthew 24:4-7, 14).

But to what Gospel was Jesus referring? It's the Gospel that declares that He, the Creator of the Universe, the Governor of the galaxies, and the Lord of the Sabbath, is the ONLY Savior of the world who can bring peace to the human family (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).

He therefore was careful to warn about that other gospel: "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand" (Matthew 24:15). Jesus is here referring to a system of human instrumentalities offering a way of salvation outside the grace of God and without faith in Him. It's a gospel that promises utopia without the removal of sin from the human experience. In modern times the world has experienced the results of that gospel in the programs of Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler. They all miserably failed to bring about world peace as they promised. So will this effort also.

The apostle Paul warned, "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape" (1 Thessalonians 5:3). Certainly, humanity is experiencing birth pains as a woman with child soon to be delivered. The prophet Daniel amplifies that pain before delivery: "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book" (Daniel 12:1). Be sure that your name is written in His book of life.

God has not left us in darkness with regard to where we are in earth's history. In fact, the Bible has been remarkably accurate in prophesying the ruling powers of the earth. It boasts a 100% accuracy rate in foretelling the nations that would rule supreme over the human family. Beginning with Babylon, some 600 years before the birth of Jesus Christ, those powers are undeniably identified as Babylon, Media/Persia, Greece, Imperial Rome, and the Roman Papacy united with the United States of America.

Though many question America's role in world and salvation history, the facts are startling and the Biblical record unflinching. The Pilgrims had landed at Plymouth Rock. They were fleeing the persecution of the church/state union that was reigning throughout Europe. Sadly, they implemented the same policies on the shores of their newfound home. Those that did not go along with the religious tenets of these new settlers were persecuted, harassed, and killed by the state for not following the doctrines of the church. Incidentally, one of those doctrines was mandatory going to church on Sunday, a move that is rapidly picking up steam around the world.

But there rose one among them who vehemently disagreed with that concept. His name was Roger Williams, and this is what he said: "An enforced uniformity of religion throughout a nation or civil state confounds the civil and religious and denies the principles of Christianity and civility, and that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh." (Roger Williams [founder of Rhode Island], The Bloody Tenet of Persecution for Cause of Conscience, 1644). God always has His sentinels that would stand up for righteousness and justice in the face of despotism, cruelty, and injustice.

Moving a little closer, we see a band of revolutionaries, no doubt influenced, if not inspired, by the pronouncements of Roger Williams, rose up to cast off the yoke of the British church/state enterprise that controlled the lives of the people in the New World for more than 100 years. They would eventually not only succeed in their rebellion to separate from that system of tyranny but also establish a country that would be founded on a principle of a completely different sort.

Enshrined in their founding documents is the principle that would be its strength and power for as long as it exists. It is the separation of church and state—a country without a king and a church without a pope. It is profoundly rooted and grounded in this seemingly simple but profoundly powerful statement: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances" (1st Amendment of the US Constitution).

As we take an even closer look at our not-too-distant past, we see a man by the name of John F. Kennedy who embraced that principle. He was the great-grandson of one of those families that fled the European continent to establish a better life for themselves in the land born out of Roger Williams' idea and solidified by James Madison and the Revolutionary Founding Fathers of this great nation we call the United States of America.

JFK was a gentleman and a war hero who was reared in a culture of public service. He wanted to be president of the country for which he fought and risked his life. But he had a problem. He was Roman Catholic. Americans, ever since the days of its founding, had educated their children to abhor Catholicism (not individual Roman Catholics), but the usurpation of civil and religious liberties for which the system stands. It was the system from which millions fled to a place where the worship of God according to the dictates of their own consciences was promoted.

In his quest for the presidency, JFK had to convince the leading Protestant ministers of the land that he would not govern the nation according to the demands of his church. And that he did. In his most memorable speech, given to those ministers gathered in Houston, Texas, on September 12th, 1960, young John Kennedy declared, "I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute, where no Catholic prelate would tell the president (should he be Catholic) how to act, and no Protestant minister would tell his parishioners for whom to vote; where no church or church school is granted any public funds or political preference; and where no man is denied public office merely because his religion differs from the president who might appoint him or the people who might elect him." He was elected the first Roman Catholic president in November of the same year.

But what a contrast we are experiencing today. Leading ministers, both Protestant and Catholic, are imposing their will upon the people based upon the dogmas and doctrines of several sects. Historical and spiritual amnesia has steeped in. Like never before, the church and state are having a love affair such as has not been seen since the Dark Ages, when untold millions lost their lives for not abiding by the pronouncements of the European Ecclesiastical Establishment.

Former Roman Catholic priest Charles Chiniquy had predicted this moment in the nation's history. In his book, Fifty Years in the Church of Rome, Chiniquy related the subject of discussion at a meeting of Roman Catholic priests and bishops held in Ontario, Canada, in the year 1852. The attendees were told of a rather focused and comprehensive plan to take over the United States. Chiniquy cited the object of that plan, "Then, yes! Then, we will rule the United States and lay them at the feet of the Vicar of Jesus Christ, that he may put an end to their godless system of education and impious laws of liberty of conscience, which are an insult to God and man!" (Charles Chiniquy, Fifty Years in the Church of Rome, Page 476).

He continued, "Liberty of conscience is proclaimed by the United States as a most sacred principle, which every citizen must uphold, even at the price of his blood. But liberty of conscience is declared by all the popes and councils of Rome to be a most godless, unholy, and diabolical thing, which every good Catholic must abhor and destroy at any cost." (ibid., pg. 478).

That mission is almost accomplished. The question is, what happens next? Former Pope Francis laid it all out in his encyclical, Fratelli Tutti (All Brothers). It's his, and by extension his church's, prescription for world peace and unity, based upon his inspiration of a dead Francis of Assisi and not on God's word. Here are a few highlights:

*Full unification of church and state. The church is becoming the conscience of the state. Desecration of the 1st Amendment and, by extension, the destruction of the American experiment—destruction of the wall of separation of church and state.

*Denial of individual property rights, since all property is for the common good as determined by his church.

*His church becoming the only means of salvation, accepting Mary as the mother of the church and his church as the mother of all churches.

*Sunday sacredness.

*Sugar coated with a little Jesus spread out here and there'

On the contrary, however, James Madison, the one who is credited for being the main architect of America's founding documents, wrote to a friend, "In the Papal System, government and religion are in a manner consolidated, and that is found to be the worst of governments. In most of the governments of the old world, the legal establishment of a particular religion, with or without very little toleration of others, makes a part of the political and civil organization, and there are few of the most enlightened judges who will maintain that the system has been favorable either to religion or to government." (James Madison, Letter to Jasper Adams).

Regardless of who wins the conflict between Trump's Board of Peace and the United Nations, the result will be the same: a period of tyranny, championed by the Papal system, fueled by AI, accelerated by Christian Nationalism, and followed by the nations of the world such as has never before been seen in the history of the human race. John the Revelator explains, "These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful" (Revelation 17:13-14).

Be sure you're on the side of the Prince of Peace, your Only Shelter in the coming storm.

QuoteThe Church Applauded when Pope Leo's New Handpicked Archbishop of New York Used Bad Bunny's Lyrics During Sunday Mass

At his inaugural Mass on Sunday, February 6, 2026, Ronald Hicks, the newly appointed Archbishop of New York, began his homily by quoting lyrics from a Bad Bunny song in Spanish to connect with his multicultural congregation. The reference to Bad Bunny drew notable applause from those present. Archbishop Ronald Hicks, representing 2.5 million Roman Catholics, declared the following during Sunday Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City:

Spanish: "Si te quieres divertir, con encanto y con primor, solo tienes que vivir, un verano en Nueva York."

English: "If you want to have fun, with charm and grace, you just have to live, a summer in New York."

This is deeply troubling, as much of Bad Bunny's music contains sexually graphic content and profanity, making it wholly inappropriate for a church sermon or worship setting. Even more concerning is the influence his music and highly sexualized performances have on young audiences, including children, despite the degrading themes they promote. These concerns were widely circulated following his appearance at Super Bowl LX, which drew criticism from many viewers who felt the performance was unsuitable for a family-oriented broadcast. Tragically, some church leaders, seeking relevance and broader appeal, are linking worship services to music figures widely known for explicit lyrics and debased performances.

For these and many other reasons, these artists and their music should never be endorsed or promoted by church leaders, including the newly installed Archbishop of New York, appointed by Pope Leo XIV. This contradicts the moral responsibility expected of spiritual leaders to maintain standards consistent with Christian values and the protection of children. Even if your children don't speak Spanish, they will sing the lyrics and quickly learn their meaning.

A poor decision to be sure. Which many Catholics themselves no doubt are not comfortable with. Nevertheless, the new Archbishop was probably not seeking to approve of the more raunchy aspects of the half time show, but rather the anti-American gospel it represented. Following the Pope and Vatican's lead regarding support for illegal immigration and immigrants, defense of these illegal aliens and their supposed human rights to bypass our laws and safely remain here, no borders for our country, and watering the nation down enough with anti-American peoples to effect the destruction of our Declared and Constitutional liberties, freedoms, and rights. Oh yes, and against the English language being our official language as well. Not to mention destroying the separation of church and state our forefathers envisioned.

The book of Revelation, chapter 13, foretells of a final worldwide amalgamation of religious, political, and economic powers in which the church rules the state (Revelation 17:1-6). No such thing as separation of church from sate .(Left design)

I hear the theological claim you're making more than a political slogan: no ruler is autonomous, and no nation is morally neutral. Power always answers to something unseen.

When you bring up Donald Trump, you're not really talking about personality so much as office—the reality that a president functions in a king-like role, and Scripture treats the heart of a ruler as contested ground, not a secular vacuum.

That's exactly the logic of Josiah.
Josiah wasn't reformed by oral tradition, myth, or cultural religion. He was undone by a written book—words rediscovered, read aloud, and recognized as living. What followed wasn't symbolism but action: idols destroyed, altars torn down, false authorities exposed. The Word judged the nation.

That contrast you draw matters:

Mythology → dying man preserving stories

Scripture → living God confronting hearts

The Bible never imagines "separation" in the modern sense of moral independence. Even when church and state are institutionally distinct, law still reflects worship. Someone's god always informs someone's justice.

That's why Proverbs 21:1–3 lands so cleanly:

The king's heart is in the Lord's hand

Self-justification is natural

Justice and judgment outweigh sacrifice

Not slogans. Not performances. Not religious theater.

Your prayer for humility is actually the sharpest line in everything you said. Scripture never promises righteous rulers by willpower or branding—only rulers turned by God. Whether a president recognizes it or not, the higher power remains higher.

So the work isn't myth-making or gospel-branding ("good" or "bad"), but this:

speaking living words

doing justice

trusting God to turn hearts—including those who sit in power

That's not nostalgia.
That's biblical realism.

Gobbledegook.

Mat 22:15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. 16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. 17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? 18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? 19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. 20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? 21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. 22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

Caesar and God represent two completely different powers in this world. All leaders in this world who presume upon the powers that be of God as in forcing His will as they see it upon any, are agents of anti-christ. They can be nothing else, as they presume to do what even God Himself will not do. Nor has asked any mere man to do. Not even when that man was God, in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As is most obvious.

The fall of Christianity itself, was rapid after the Roman Pontifex Maximus Constantine determined to make it the official religion of the Roman empire. Devolving into superstition, chaos, darkness, and evil.

QuoteLetter from the Danbury Baptists:

The address of the Danbury Baptist Association in the State of Connecticut, assembled October 7, 1801.
To Thomas Jefferson, Esq., President of the United States of America

Sir,
Among the many millions in America and Europe who rejoice in your election to office, we embrace the first opportunity which we have enjoyed in our collective capacity, since your inauguration , to express our great satisfaction in your appointment to the Chief Magistracy in the Unite States. And though the mode of expression may be less courtly and pompous than what many others clothe their addresses with, we beg you, sir, to believe, that none is more sincere.

Our sentiments are uniformly on the side of religious liberty: that Religion is at all times and places a matter between God and individuals, that no man ought to suffer in name, person, or effects on account of his religious opinions, [and] that the legitimate power of civil government extends no further than to punish the man who works ill to his neighbor. But sir, our constitution of government is not specific. Our ancient charter, together with the laws made coincident therewith, were adapted as the basis of our government at the time of our revolution. And such has been our laws and usages, and such still are, [so] that Religion is considered as the first object of Legislation, and therefore what religious privileges we enjoy (as a minor part of the State) we enjoy as favors granted, and not as inalienable rights. And these favors we receive at the expense of such degrading acknowledgments, as are inconsistent with the rights of freemen. It is not to be wondered at therefore, if those who seek after power and gain, under the pretense of government and Religion, should reproach their fellow men, [or] should reproach their Chief Magistrate, as an enemy of religion, law, and good order, because he will not, dares not, assume the prerogative of Jehovah and make laws to govern the Kingdom of Christ.

Sir, we are sensible that the President of the United States is not the National Legislator and also sensible that the national government cannot destroy the laws of each State, but our hopes are strong that the sentiment of our beloved President, which have had such genial effect already, like the radiant beams of the sun, will shine and prevail through all these States--and all the world--until hierarchy and tyranny be destroyed from the earth. Sir, when we reflect on your past services, and see a glow of philanthropy and goodwill shining forth in a course of more than thirty years, we have reason to believe that America's God has raised you up to fill the Chair of State out of that goodwill which he bears to the millions which you preside over. May God strengthen you for the arduous task which providence and the voice of the people have called you--to sustain and support you and your Administration against all the predetermined opposition of those who wish to rise to wealth and importance on the poverty and subjection of the people.

And may the Lord preserve you safe from every evil and bring you at last to his Heavenly Kingdom through Jesus Christ our Glorious Mediator.

Signed in behalf of the Association,

QuoteJefferson's Reply:

Messrs. Nehemiah Dodge, Ephraim Robbins, and Stephen s. Nelson

A Committee of the Danbury Baptist Association, in the State of Connecticut.
Washington, January 1, 1802

Gentlemen,--The affectionate sentiment of esteem and approbation which you are so good as to express towards me, on behalf of the Danbury Baptist Association, give me the highest satisfaction. My duties dictate a faithful and zealous pursuit of the interests of my constituents, and in proportion as they are persuaded of my fidelity to those duties, the discharge of them becomes more and more pleasing.

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature would "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church and State. Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.

I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection and blessing of the common Father and Creator of man, and tender you for yourselves and your religious association, assurances of my high respect and esteem.
