How many televisions are in your house?

I have one, but we don't have cable, satellite, or even rabbit ears. It's strictly used for watching movies, which I can regulate. DS keeps it busy between Thomas the Tank Engine, Veggie Tales, and Dukes of Hazzard. Otherwise, we don't watch it.

My parents "pulled the plug" when I was a kid, and now it just drives me nuts to be in a house where it's on constantly.

Bon Voyage

Mine is mostly on "Between the Lions."  I record the episodes off of PBS onto my computer, and make my own DVD's.  And then there is Netflix.  I can watch Batman:  TAS, just started Superman:  TAS.  And of course, thanks to ebay, I have 24 out of 28 seasons of Star Trek.

Just need TNG Seaons 6 and 7, and Enterprise 3 and 4 to be complete.

Even if I watch broadcast television, its usually after I've made my own dvd's and removed all the commercials on my own time.

I just found this. We have 6:
1-garage, 1-gameroom, 1-livingroom, 1-computer room, 1-my bedroom and 1-spare bedroom. Except, the last mentioned TV is in my son's bedroom and he doesn't live here anymore. That's when I realized it was the "spare" bedroom. Which made me realize the "we" is just "me".
So, "I" actually have 6 TV's. I'd rather have 0 TV's and 6 people living here.

In my house, PBS, LifeTime and MTV are all blocked.  My house is not a Democracy.

I put in two. I always swore there would be no TV in the bedroom. But then my husband travels a fair bit and I found myself wanting to curl up in bed and watch a late night show. Hence two.

Now.. I do have one of those teeny tiny car size portable DVD players too.

I just have 3...
one's a big flat screen tho
