Court Dismisses Obamacare Lawsuit Against Bible Publisher

On Monday, the Obama administration’s lawsuit against Bible publisher Tyndale House Publishers was dismissed.

The Obama administration had filed suit because Tyndale House Publishers had refused to implement the Obamacare requirement to pay for employees’ birth control, including potential abortions.

“Bible publishers should be free to do business according to the book that they publish,” Senior Legal Counsel for the Alliance Defending Freedom Matt Bowman told Life Site News.

This marks the first legal loss for the Obama administration in its attempts to force religious Americans to pay for services that violate their religious beliefs.
