Track Team Banned From State Title After Runner Thanks God

Freedom of religion, freedom of speech – to most Americans those freedoms are taken for granted. We’re used to being able to acknowledge God as we choose without government interference. But increasingly, the events of today are showing us that persecution of Christianity in the United States is anything but a myth.

A school in Columbus, Texas was hosting a track event that would determine what teams from their area went to the state track championship. That religious gesture stripped his team of their victory and they are now not allowed to advance to the state title.
