The bald eagle is the longest living bird on earth. The story of its life might just fascinate you. Especially the decision it has to make in its forties in order to continue living.
You might see a lot of yourself in this strong creature.
We also have a difficult decision to make. In order to live, to be refreshed, and to have a more abundant life, we must die to our old self. We must painfully pry away sin and shame and put on the crown of righteousness. Sometimes prying away sin requires a time of waiting, pain and loneliness. But like the eagle, we must keep as our guiding light, the knowledge that God will give us that eternal “flight of rebirth.”
