Last year Kevin Harris broke into a church building in Georgia and stole members’ credit card information, office equipment and over one thousand dollars from the church safe in order to fund his drug addiction. During the burglary he also caused damage to the building. Harris turned himself in and was given probation.
This past Sunday Harris stood in tears before the congregation at Grace Baptist Church and asked them to forgive him (see video below). The church gave him a standing ovation and many gathered around him and prayed for and with him. Harris is in rehabilitation for his drug addiction and it is reported to be going well.
